The (statistical 😀) Report about 66 parkrun Urheilupuisto

On September 5, 2026, 41 participants and 10 volunteers attended the 66th Urheilupuisto parkrun.
We had two new volunteers: Maiju NIEMELÄ and Kristian KIRJONEN. They wore volunteer vests for the first time at our 66th parkrun, and they also improved their personal bests on our parkrun that day! Eight more people also improved their best times on the Urheilupuisto parkrun course.
For five runners, our parkrun was their first. Welcome!
First up was our guest, Сергей МИХАЙЛЕНКО. He improved his personal best on our "summer" course, but fell 7 seconds short of the all-time record for this distance (the men's "summer" course record is 17.54). Сергей, you'll have to come back and run at least 8 seconds faster.
Speaking of records, we should also mention the best times for women. The fastest runner at our parkrun is, of course, Maiju NIEMELÄ. At the recent 66th parkrun, she broke the previous course record (which she also held) by running a time of 20:24!
