Sisu-Kyokushin ry Riihimäki

Riihimäen Kamppailukeskuksella on tehty muutoksia harjoitusaikoihin. Sisun osalta muutoksia on tullut tiistai- ja torstaipäivien osalta. Tiistain muutos koskee jatkokurssia ja torstain muutos sekä perus- että jatkokurssia. Uudet ajat ovat seuraavat:

Tiistai: jatkokurssi 19:00 - 20:30
Torstai: peruskurssi 19:30 - 20:30, jatkokurssi 20:30 - 21:30

Peruskurssin päättymisen jälkeen jatkokurssin harjoitusaika tulee olemaan 19:30 - 21:00.

Pahoittelemme tätä muutosta ja toivottavasti uudet ajankohdat sopivat mahdollisimman monelle.

With deep sadness, the World Zen-Kyokushin family extends its heartfelt condolences on the passing of Kaicho Hatsuo Royama.

A direct disciple of Sosai Masutatsu Oyama since the early days of the legendary Oyama Dojo, Kaicho Royama dedicated his entire life to preserving the true spirit of Kyokushin. As an All Japan Champion, senior instructor, author, and founder of Kyokushin-kan, he inspired generations of karateka in Japan and around the world through his unwavering commitment to Budo, discipline, humility, and the pursuit of true strength.

His legacy reaches far beyond organizational boundaries. His lifelong devotion to the teachings of Sosai Oyama and his contribution to the worldwide development of Kyokushin will always be remembered with the deepest respect.

On behalf of World Zen-Kyokushin, we offer our sincere condolences to Kaicho Royama’s family, his students, the entire Kyokushin-kan organization, and everyone whose lives he touched.

May his spirit continue to inspire future generations.

Rest in peace, Kaicho Hatsuo Royama.

Yksi harrastajistamme on työskennellyt tänä kesänä Lopen kesätorilla ja hänen kauttaan meille järjestyi hieno tilaisuus päästä tutustumaan torin toimintaan paikan päällä.

Vierailu oli meille hieno kokemus ja oli upeaa nähdä, kuinka monipuolista toimintaa kesätori tarjoaa. Kiitokset järjestäjille ja paikalla olleille ihmisille!

“Create one book of your own.” 📖

Before becoming All Japan Champion, Soshi Kazuyuki Hasegawa trained under the late Ashihara Hideyuki for just one month. During every lesson, he carefully wrote down everything he learned.

Today, he continues to pass on the same advice:

“Even if it’s just rough notes, write everything down. Create one book of your own. One day, that notebook will become your greatest treasure.”

A true karateka never stops learning.

Three Japanese Masters. Three remarkable journeys. One shared dedication to Kyokushin.

🇯🇵 Sensei Nobuyuki Kishi
A direct uchi-deshi of Sosai Mas Oyama, Kishi Sensei dedicated his youth to Kyokushin and later became one of the pioneers of its international expansion. Teaching in Taiwan, the United States, Italy and Romania, he has spent more than five decades passing on the philosophy of traditional Budo. His lifelong message has always been that karate is a path of character, harmony and self-development.

🇯🇵 Soshi Kazuyuki Hasegawa
Founder and Kancho of IKO World Zen-Kyokushin, former 2nd All Japan Champion, and one of Japan’s foremost technical instructors. Throughout his life, Soshi Hasegawa has devoted himself to preserving the complete essence of Kyokushin—not only powerful kumite, but also precise kihon, kata, bunkai and traditional body mechanics. His philosophy reminds us that true karate is a lifelong study, where knowledge is preserved, refined and passed on to the next generation.

🇯🇵 Shihan Katsuaki Sato
One of the greatest competitors in Kyokushin history, Sato won the 3rd All Japan Championship (1971), the 6th All Japan Championship (1974) and became the Champion of the 1st World Open Tournament in 1975, defeating some of the strongest fighters of his era. Later, he founded Satojuku (Odo Karate), teaching that a true champion must combine technical excellence with courtesy, humility and honor.

Although each followed a different path, all three have dedicated their lives to preserving the spirit of Japanese Budo.

Their legacy reminds us that Kyokushin is not only built by champions but by teachers who continue to inspire future generations.
