Our journey at the Helsinki Tigers Cricket Fest 2026 came to an end in the quarter-finals after an outstanding group-stage campaign, finishing as Group Champions.

Despite a fighting half-century from our captain, the result didn't go our way. Poor umpiring cost us the game. We felt several crucial umpiring decisions at key moments went against us and changed the course of the match. It was frustrating to see important calls consistently favor the opposition, making it difficult to compete on equal terms. While we strongly disagree with those decisions, we respect the game and accept the result.

We are incredibly proud of every single player for the passion, discipline, and character they showed throughout the tournament.

A special thanks to our beloved Prosanta Singha (PK) Dada, who travelled with Noman, Hasan & Javed from Kuopio in the middle of the night just to support us. Your dedication means the world to us.

We leave the tournament with our heads held high. The fight continues, and now our full focus shifts to the FinnBangla Cricket Tournament 2026.

We remained unbeaten throughout the group stage, winning all our matches in commanding fashion. Even more impressively, we chased every target without losing a single wicket, defeating every opponent by 10 wickets. A true display of discipline, power, and teamwork.

🔥 Jannaten Nayem – a fiery spell with the ball that set up a comfortable victory.

💥 Taiful Islam Chowdhury – an explosive unbeaten 69* off just 27 balls.

🏅 Man of the Match vs Lahti Lions:
💥 Abdullah Al Mamun – a breathtaking unbeaten 80* off only 23 deliveries.

Our opening pair of Taiful Islam Chowdhury and Abdullah Al Mamun was simply unstoppable, putting together two unbeaten century partnerships and making every chase look effortless.

The second season of the Kuopion Champions Trophy 2026 has come to an exciting conclusion! A total of 7 competitive teams battled throughout the tournament, showcasing outstanding cricket, passion, and sportsmanship.

In a thrilling final, tournament favourites Northern All Stars lived up to expectations by defeating Savon Royals to lift the championship trophy. 🏆🔥

Due to requests from several teams, we are pleased to announce that the registration deadline for the Kuopion Champions Trophy 2026 – Season 2 has been extended until 10th of June 2026.

This gives teams extra time to complete their registration and payment process. Don't miss your chance to compete for the €150 prize money and the championship trophy!
