Some people say that polar night season is dark and gloomy. Well, what do you think?

We got a lot of snow within few days and finally tonight clear sky, loads of stars and northernlights.
Winter is here 😍 But still we need colder weather! So, rescue department of Lapland asked to remind that still some of the lakes and rivers are not yet frozen enough. Ask from the locals where is safe to walk. Stay safe!

Polar night ( Kaamos in Finnish ) starts here in Inari area. Tomorrow the sun stays under the horizon 36 days. Time to enjoy the different shades of blue, violet and golden, colors that tame a restless soul.

Finally snow! 🌨️ So, it was White Friday in Inari and in monday Cyber beautiful weather. Even though lakes and rivers seems to be frozen. Right now there is still lots of places which are unsafe to walk. Please stay off from the frozen lakes/rivers still a little while if you do not know for sure where is safe to walk. Wish you all a nice week ahead ❤️
