If you’re looking for a complete putting training plan to improve your real putting skill and gain confidence on the green, Skill for Putting is designed for exactly that.

This skill for putting program is designed for players who have been training actively for at least 2–3 years. It combines scientifically researched principles of skill learning & training combined with my years of practical coaching experience to create a 12-week structured putting plan.

You can adjust the program to your level using step-by-step guidelines that let you choose the challenge of practices. It also covers the key elements of putting technique and addresses topics like the “yips”, based on what is currently known about them.

* The plan includes 3–5 structured sessions per week, with both shorter and longer versions available – so you can decide how much time to invest in your training.

The throwing motion is a complex and coordinated movement pattern. It always requires precise timing between muscles and joints to optimize both power and accuracy. The kinetic chain consists of different segments of the body, where the movement of one segment always affects the others.

On the tee and during the run-up, visual information is gathered before the acceleration phase of the throw begins.

In a backhand throw, the “lights go out” for the eyes during the loading phase.

Feed the brain enough high-quality visual data before the throwing motion begins if you want to be as accurate as possible.
