On June 20, 2026, CVM hosted a specialized seminar at the Vibes Hotel and Spa, Addis Ababa, for 30 key justice officials, including Judges, Prosecutors, and Police.
Our focus:
 Establishing specialized courts for victims of trafficking (VOT).
 Implementing victim-centered and child-friendly legal procedures.
 Strengthening inter-agency coordination for case management.
By aligning our justice sector actors, we are committed to ensuring ethical, efficient, and sensitive protection for all victims.

CVM successfully hosted a ToT for 28 CETU & DW Association leaders in Tigray! 🛡️
Focused on ILO C189 & safe migration, these leaders will now reach 1,000+ people to promote decent work and secure 285+ legal contracts. Strengthening rights from the ground up. ⚖️🤝

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of our specialized training for 20 police and justice officials in the Tigray Region. Under the COTPPR Project, this initiative focused on enhancing the investigation of trafficking cases involving women and children.
Through this training, a new coordination network has been established to ensure that 100 priority trafficking cases are thoroughly investigated and prosecuted. CVM remains committed to upholding the dignity of domestic workers and securing justice for survivors.

A two-day workshop for members of the Andinet Domestic Workers Union was held on December 22–23, 2025, in Bahir Dar, Amhara Region, under a project entitled “Promoting Safer Migration in Ethiopia” implemented by CVM Ethiopia with the support of the Freedom Fund.
The workshop engaged 67 participants from domestic worker associations across Addis Ababa, Amhara, Tigray, Oromia, Sidama, Central and South Ethiopia, Harar, and Dire Dawa, together with key stakeholders from CETU, BoLS, Immigration, and BoJ.
The sessions focused on safe migration, domestic workers’ rights, and national legal protections, in line with Proclamations 923/2016, 1246/2021, and 1389/2017. Participants were also introduced to the digital Labor Market Information System (LMIS) as a tool for safe and informed migration.
