HSK Examination Notice

Dear Candidates,
The admission tickets for the upcoming HSK examination are now available in the registration system. Please log in to your HSK account, go to the Test Records page, and download your admission ticket. On the examination day, all candidates must bring:

1.The original identification document used for registration（ID Card , Passport etc.）;
2.A printed copy of the admission ticket.

Candidates are required to arrive at the test center at least 30 minutes before the examination begins. Late arrivals or candidates who fail to present both a valid identification document and an admission ticket will not be permitted to take the examination.
Candidates whose status on the Examination Records page shows “Unpaid” have not successfully completed their registration. If you have already made the payment, please send the following documents and information to [email protected]:

1.A PDF copy or photograph of the payment receipt;
2.The name of the bank;
3.The account holder’s name;
4.The bank account number.

After verification of the payment information, we will arrange the refund transfer accordingly.

Chinese Education Included in Ethiopia’s National Education System
Confucius Institute at TVTI Attends Signing Ceremony

On June 10, the Chinese Embassy in Ethiopia hosted the China–Ethiopia Chinese Language Education Cooperation Agreement Signing Ceremony and China–Ethiopia People-to-People Exchange Reception, celebrating the official inclusion of Chinese language education into Ethiopia’s national education system. Representatives from the governments, education sectors, and cultural institutions of both countries attended the event, including H.E. Chen Hai, Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia, and H.E. Genet Teshome, State Minister of Education of Ethiopia. Dr. Briuk, President of the Federal TVT Institute, and Mr. Pan Liang, Director of the Confucius Institute at TVTI, were invited to participate.

During the event, China and Ethiopia officially signed the cooperation agreement on Chinese language education, marking a new stage in the development of Chinese language education in Ethiopia. At the reception that followed, guests highly praised the achievements of bilateral cooperation in Chinese language education and expressed confidence in its future development within Ethiopia’s national education system.

The Confucius Institute and the Luban Workshop jointly organized Chinese cultural experience activities, including calligraphy and paper-cutting, attracting many guests to participate and experience the charm of traditional Chinese culture.

As one of the key activities under the framework of the China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges, the event showcased the fruitful achievements of educational and cultural cooperation between China and Ethiopia. The Confucius Institute will continue to serve as a bridge for educational and cultural exchanges, promoting the integrated development of Chinese language education and vocational education, and contributing to deeper friendship and mutual understanding between the two peoples.

Our test center has now released the list of candidates who have successfully completed registration for this examination (please check the attached photos below).

Candidates who have made payment but were not successfully registered may take the next HSK test.

The refund process will begin after June 8.

The Announcement of HSK Exams Scheduled for June 28th, 2026

Confucius Institute at TVTI is going to hold the HSK exams level 1- 4 on June 28th, 2026. If you need to register, please read this notice carefully and complete your registration before the deadline, May 26th 2026.In order to make it more convenient and fast for everyone to complete the registration, this test center adopts the method of online registration, and the registration website is https://www.chinesetest.cn .
After entering the website, please register an account first, get an account and return to the homepage and click “ Book A Test ”to start registration. First, please select “HSK” in the test type and choose the test level. Then choose the “Paper-based Test” in the test format, because “Internet-based Test (at center) ”and “Internet-based Test (at home)” are currently not available in Ethiopia. At the last item on this page, Please select the “Confucius Institute at TVET of Ethiopia ”in the test center options.
In the next step, Please follow the instructions and requirements of the website, complete all the information and confirm the registration. An application information form will be generated in your account after completing the registration information, please check carefully before paying the registration fee. For any question, please contact the registration office. Thanks for your understanding.
Notes:Because the exam seats are limited, please confirm with Mr. Yan by email before paying for the test. If any required information is missing, you should be responsible for the failure of registration.

Exam payment:
Please deposit or transfer the fee for your test to the given bank account and MARK your name and exam level(s) when you deposit or transfer the money(e.g.: Mehret HSK2). After you finish the payment, please SEND a screenshot of the receipt to the email [email protected], and write down your name and exam level(s),we will confirm with you through email.
Notes: Because the exam seats are limited, Each HSK Level 1-6 test center has only 30 seats, and the registration list is finalized based on the order of payment completion.
Please do not be late on the exam day, otherwise you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
