Our partnerships at Reconnect are ones we take time to establish.
Our Client & Ops Director, Bella Hegarty | Client Experience & Operations Partner , met Laura on a personal trip with friends, visiting the winery Castell d'Encus in Tremp.
She found Fox House the way she finds most places, scrolling Google Maps looking for something different.
The location, the work, the dedication Laura and Karl have put into restoring Fox House and creating something incredible in Santa Engràcia.
For us at Reconnect, when we look to host a retreat, it isn’t just the property, or the location. It’s the details, and the people behind it. Every detail makes a real difference to the impact we can create.
We exist to help our guests reconnect to themselves. But what’s vital is that our partners live that same ethos, not just reconnecting to nature, but to the local area around them, the people, and what makes that place special.
That’s something really special about what Laura and Karl do.
The food, the drinks, everything they provide is local to Tremp and Pallars Jussà, and they use local businesses to build the experience and help guests understand the area they’re in.
They celebrate those businesses and bring them to their guests regularly, and they partner on some great initiatives and digital transformation projects too.
We were waiting for the right opportunity to align, so we could host a retreat there. Last year, with one of our clients, we got it.
Fox House Taste the place is hosting Taste Pallars this September, a food and wine weekend built around local producers and the landscape.
This edition runs 25 to 27 September, all about harvest season, late-summer produce, gathering in, and taking time for gratitude. If you’re a foodie, or nearby, get in touch with Laura direct.
And we can’t wait for our next Reconnect retreat with them in October.
