DI**LE HALF & FULL MARATHON 2026

We had a super team who travelled to Di**le last weekend for the Di**le Half & Full Marathon. The picture postcard route has become an annual pilgrimage for some of our club members and what a great job they did again this year. Congratulations to Joanne Quinn, Mary Freyne, Liam Rockett, Jo Rockett, Elaine Power, Evelyn Curry and Sinéad Madden who blitzed the half marathon. And last but by no means least, congratulations to John Walsh who completed the full marathon in Di**le! Another one notched up for John.

Kilkenny County 4 Mile Road Race

The annual County 4 Mile hosted for the 3rd year by Gowran AC took place on Friday evening. Congratulations to Evan Aylward who won the Novice Mens category and finishing 2nd overall. Evan also guided the St Senans AC mens team home to victory, including Paddy Aylward, Keith Norris and Keith Coady.
Fantastic job lads, from all at St Senans AC.

MASTER MY 5K 2026

Now is the ideal time of year to start a new healthy routine. Come join us for the annual ‘Master My 5k’ program!

Now in its 4th year, the program this year will be delivered by the hugely experienced runner, John Walsh.

€60 for non members and free for club members. Hope to see you from Mon 28th Sept at 7pm.

ST SENANS AC LINE OUT FOR GREENWAY HALF AND TULLAMORE HALF MARATHONS

It was a weekend of half marathons with both the West Waterford AC Greenway Half and Tullamore Half Marathon running off to sellout crowds.

Congratulations to Marianne Irish, John Malone, Michael Murphy and Keith Norris who headed in the Dungarvan direction. Meanwhile, Orla Cooper, Marie Sheridan, Esther Lannon, Keith Coady, George Carpendale and Paddy Aylward headed for the midlands.
