Hermitas are worth visiting if you enjoy peaceful places in nature. You can have a picnic there or simply enjoy the tranquillity.

Just keep in mind that on bank holidays or during local festivals, they can be quite busy, which can be fun too!

Our Ermita de la Santíssima Trinitat was originally built in the 15th century and rebuilt in 1790 in the Baroque style.

Today it's a popular destination for walking, cycling, family outings, and celebration.

Roc de Sant Gaietà was built in the 1960s to look like an old Mediterranean village.

It combines Romanesque, Gothic, Andalusian, and medieval styles.

Modern concrete was shaped and painted to resemble old stone, while some doors, arches, and stone fragments were brought from different parts of Spain.

It’s incredibly photogenic, with its arches, courtyards, and charming squares.

I like to bring most of our food from home and plan my meals a bit in advance. I do use some ready-made foods as well to make things easier.

We usually camp for 2–4 nights, so this works well for us. If we stayed longer, I’d of course need to buy more food along the way.

Are you interested in camping at all?

Try this transition to help build your core and back strength. Feel free to add a few extra repetitions of the mountain climbers if you'd like more of a challenge.

Coma-ruga is perfect for a beach day or a few nights.

On this visit, I learned it is famous for its thermal waters from a small stream called the Riuet, where underground thermal water flows directly onto the beach.

We saw it but didn’t try it. Its medicinal mineral properties were already recognised in 1892 by the Royal Academy of Medicine and Surgery of Barcelona.

Next time I will try it for sure.

I was so lucky to visit two of Gaudí’s masterpieces on the same day. I made a video of Casa Batlló and posted it last week if you want to see it. Here is Casa Milà.

You need to book tickets in advance, and the basic ticket is around €24, which is what we had. There are also different experience options, for example sunrise or night tours.

We were also lucky to meet a family friend who is a Barcelona tour guide, specialised in Gaudí’s work. He knows everything about Gaudí. Let me know if you ever want to hire him for detailed and interesting insider information.

Have you visited Casa Milà yet?

Last night, I wanted to take just a few minutes of video of the Sant Joan fire performance.

However, when I arrived, it hadn't started yet. I then met some friends and walked with them from the starting point.

The performers are dressed as devils, a tradition that dates back centuries. Originally, it symbolized the struggle between good and evil, but today it is mainly a lively community celebration.

Fire, noise, and light are believed to cleanse away the old and welcome the new season.

In the end, I stayed and watched the whole show.

If you are ever in Catalonia on the night of Sant Joan, be prepared that you might not get much sleep!

A DJ was playing close to our home until around 6 a.m. with the music at full volume. I didn't fall asleep until the early hours of the morning.

Are you looking for short and effective morning sequence.

Move slowly with the breath to make your practice meditative.

Stay on any pose longer.

Repeat few rounds to feel full benefits.

Enjoy your practice.

I love taking mini breaks during the day. Even 5 minutes can make a difference. Try these moves and see how your spine feels afterwards. Combine them with long, deep breaths and slow movements. 💛
