A flamingo standing still is one of the calmest things in nature.
Then it moves.
Michaël drew that second — control, tension, fragmentation, impact, tip to tip.
There’s also a poem in twelve languages set into the surface. You can’t read it from standing height. That’s the point.

There’s a fish in the Strait that never stops moving. Silver underneath, navy and teal across its back.
Michaël sat with that animal a long time before he drew a line. What came back wasn’t a pattern for a board — it was the fish. Belly on the deck, back on the base. One creature, wrapped around a piece of wood.
Paulownia, resin, and a pair of hands in Tarifa. Made until 15 August 2027, then the drawing goes home with him.

Just think about it for a second. We cut with a laser cutting machine to make sure every piece is exactly the shape that it is supposed to. What differentiates us is the craftsmanship that is gluing and sewing those pieces.
An artisan knows how to treat the textile, knows when something is out of place or in place.
We are not robots just making kites, we are humans. We are kitesurfers. When we create the product that we sail, we know the ins and outs. The correct and the wrong positions.
Crafted by hand is not “poor quality’”is art, attention and care.
