Two days, two very different rides 🚵‍♂️

Day one: dropped from the hills straight down to the coast — flowing techy trails, riverbed and sandy beach along the way, finishing with a b**r and our feet in the sea.

Day two: up into the Sierra above Cómpeta to the lost village of Acebuchal — a proper loop with some serious climbing, e-bike assisted but still a leg-burner.

Had Chris from Brechfa MTB (CIC) out to ride the Axarquía trails with us and the weather couldn't have been better — full sun, but surprisingly cool riding through the mountains even mid-afternoon. This is exactly why this corner of Andalucía is such a special place to ride: beach one day, mountain trails and abandoned villages the next.

After almost 10 years of service my old 1030 has given up! Here’s to another 10 years of getting lost 😜😂

Rode up to Competa yesterday morning for a few hours of singletrack fun with a couple of the locals. Battery depleted in under 4 hours and I lost my body weight in sweat, but we had an absolute blast. Check out the video below — no apologies for how long it is 😂 as I was playing around with my new toy from Flymount.
