A Fleet of New and Restored J-Class Sailing Yachts Is Taking Over the Mediterranean This Year A fleet of new and historic J-Class yachts will descend upon the Mediterranean this year with a new generation of owners who appreciate the heritage.

The new crew of Hanuman recently spent a week training in Palma alongside new owner, Italian Giovanni Lombardi Stronati.

Many of the team have sailed together before as part of Giovanni's successful Django racing programme, bringing a strong foundation of teamwork and experience to the J Class.

The new crew will make their racing debut at Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez officiel, lining up alongside Rainbow and Svea from 26 September - 4 October.

A beautiful final coastal race brought the 30th anniversary edition of the The Superyacht Cupr Palma Richard Mille to a close.

🏆Svea secured the overall J Class title, capping off an outstanding week of racing against Rainbow in the Bay of Palma.
