🚨 EVGC Charity Week is Almost Here! 🚨

We're delighted to announce that Oceans Golf Buggies will be joining us at El Valle Golf Club on Saturday 8th August as part of our Charity Week celebrations.

Their support goes far beyond sponsorship. They'll be bringing one of their impressive road legal golf buggies for everyone to see, making a generous donation towards El Valle Golf Resort Charity Week, and joining our Captain, Darren Wistow, to present the prizes to the winners of the prestigious EVGC Charity Shield.

We are incredibly grateful to Oceans Golf Buggies for getting behind this fantastic week, their generosity will help us make an even bigger difference to the chosen charities.

⛳️ EVGC Takes on the Mighty Hacienda Riquelme Course! ⛳️

Today, El Valle Golf Club travelled to Hacienda Riquelme for a fantastic Team Waltz competition. With players trying to remember whether to count 1, 2, 3 or even 4 scores on each hole, there were plenty of laughs, a little confusion, and some excellent golf along the way!

As the Spanish heatwave continues, our fantastic members were back out on the course today, taking on the challenging conditions in our Saturday Stableford competition. Despite the soaring temperatures, there was some excellent golf on display.

❤️ Finally, we would like to send our thoughts to everyone affected by the devastating wildfires in Los Gallardos and Bédar in the eastern part of Almería Province.

Our heartfelt thanks go to the incredible teams from INFOCA, Andalusia’s forest fire service, the emergency services, volunteers, and Spain’s Military Emergencies Unit (UME), who continue to work tirelessly in extremely difficult conditions to bring the fires under control.

Following this prolonged period of intense heat, let’s all do our part to help keep Spain safe. Please be vigilant, avoid anything that could spark a fire, and follow local advice. Together, we can all help protect the beautiful communities and countryside we are so fortunate to enjoy.

🏌️ EVGC Supporting the El Valle Community Charity Week – The Way We Know Best… Through Golf! ❤️

At El Valle Golf Society, we’re proud to support our community during Charity Week, and we’d love you to join us for two fantastic events that combine great golf with a great cause.

⛳ Tuesday 4th August – Charity Pairs Better Ball
Members and guests are invited to take part in our Charity Pairs Better Ball competition, played over the magnificent 18 holes of El Valle Golf Course. A great day of golf, friendly competition and fundraising for a wonderful cause.

🏆 Saturday 8th August – The Charity Shield
One of the major competitions in our golfing calendar, the Charity Shield offers more than just the chance to lift the trophy. The winner will also earn the honour of having their name engraved on the Clubhouse Winners Board for years to come.

💚 Honouring Bruce
During Charity Week, El Valle Golf Club will place a commemorative plaque on the bench at the 11th hole, providing a lasting tribute to Bruce and recognising the valued place he will always hold in the hearts of our members and the wider community.
