Today we introduce Zumi! ❤️

Not every horse in our club is looking for a rider.

Some are looking for a friend. We call it a CareShare.

At 21 years young, Zumi is a 17.2hh Scottish Warmblood with a distinguished showjumping career behind him and a new chapter ahead of him. These days, he’s happiest keeping all four feet firmly on the ground and spending time with people who enjoy horses for who they are, rather than what they can do.

A true gentle giant, Zumi is looking for somebody who would love to groom him, pamper him, help care for his itchy summer skin, play with him in the school, take him for walks around the finca and simply enjoy his company.

If you’ve always loved horses but no longer feel the need to ride, Zumi might be exactly the companion you’ve been looking for.

Meet Shaman 🖤🤍

Some horses are special because of what they can do. Others are special because of how they make us slow down, notice more, and enjoy their company.

At 15 years old, Shaman is a striking Knabstrupper x PRE with a gentle nature, a curious mind and a willingness to turn his hoof to almost anything. Whether you’re heading out for a countryside hack, enjoying some schooling, having a go at jumping, sharing a shower on a hot day, or simply wandering around the finca together, he’s happy to be part of the adventure.

Safe, kind and wonderfully versatile, Shaman would suit somebody who enjoys spending time with horses both in and out of the saddle and values the relationship just as much as the riding.

The weather is changing, the end of hot summer is around the corner, and it is time to start planning Horsey Time again!

We have a few horses looking for a new best friend….

First up: Meet Molly 🖤🤍

Molly arrived from the UK last summer, with her beautiful feathered legs and her kind, generous nature.

She may stand out in Spain because of her striking looks, but it’s her personality that wins people over.

Molly feel safe in the company of people. Whether you’re grooming her, chatting to her in the shade, or heading out for an adventure.

Forward-going and confident, she enjoys exploring the countryside and is ideal for a capable young rider or a not-too-tall adult looking for a fun and willing partner.

She’ll happily stand for hours being fussed over, yet she’s equally ready to stride out on a hack when asked.

Our Junior Sharing Programme has proven very popular! We are growing every month and soon will be fully booked!

If you have a horse-mad youngster in your home that would love to
have a pony/horse but for whatever reason you can’t have your own… come see us! It is second best to having your own horse!

We are beyond proud of Shaman and his Junior Sharer, Claudia, for their achievement at a local show this morning.

For some it is about winning… not matter how. The welfare of the horse gets forgotten.

For others, there is, of course, the dream of taking home a rosette…. But not at the expense of the horse.

This second group is our kind of horse people!

Congratulations Claudia! You were awesome. You rode your round in full consideration of your horse. It was beautiful to watch.

No bit, no leverage, no whip, no spurs, no straps, no chains, no martingales, no pulling, no kicking.

A beautiful calm, clear round!

Our Pony Playtime Session, for 4 and 5 year olds, on Thursday afternoons, 330 to 515pm is now in full swing!
