¿Cómo adaptarnos al cambio de hora? 03/11/2016

How to adapt to the time change?
Since a few weeks ago we've begun to feel like every time it gets dark soon...
This Sunday the summer schedule comes to an end and this means that the kids of the house will wake up before your usual time, influencing their hours of nap and dream.
To the parents also costs us to adapt to this change but children have less ability to return to regulate their body, they need help to restore your habits and routines.
Amelia Hunter, sleep consultant certified acostumbrándoles, advised to go to this change to avoid the consequences of their own the arrival of this winter schedule such as irritability, tiredness or a bad mood.
You can start a week before a gradual adjustment in the routines to sleep to the time difference doesn't affect so much of his day to day. How? The trick is to go a little behind the time to wake up, between about 10 or 15 minutes every two days.
If you have a baby, it is recommended that when you hear that wakes up go not running to your call. Wait 10 minutes on the first day, then 20 minutes... at the end of the week will be used to the change of schedule and wake up again at the usual time.
If you haven't had the time or you haven't noticed in order to prepare your little before the arrival of the new schedule, put him in bed early so I can sleep the same hours. It will take to settle in a week, in exactly the same way as an adult.

Why is it good that the kids are bored

8 things that maybe you didn't know of the canary islands

Islands

1) the name of the canary islands has nothing to do with the bird. The name of the canary islands is not coming from this cute bird that we all know, according to historians, there are two possibilities, that the name comes from a can (= dog) since it is said that when they came the first settlers were found in many dogs Islands, or the seals, which the Romans called "Wolves of the sea" which presumably were also on the islands at that time.

2) has the highest point in Spain. In spite of the Pyrenees, the highest point in Spain is in the teide in Tenerife with 3.718 meters of altitude, which offers a spectacular view of the same from places like tejeda or agaete in Gran Canaria.

3) the Spanish Civil War started here. During the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War in 1936, Francisco Franco was the commanding general of the Canary Islands, based in Las Palmas, on the island of Gran Canaria. He and his henchmen drew his strategy of here in the Canary Islands, out of sight and mind the rest of Spain, before moving to the mainland.

4) the islands were settled simultaneously with the Americas. While the canary islands were known by the ancient Romans and Greeks, actually were never focus of Europeans until began to sail across the Atlantic to the Americas. Columbus used the island of la gomera as a staging point for his first trip to the Americas. Most of the older buildings can be found in the islands, are very colonial style. Unlike the Americas, however, the canary islands were not a colony but a real part of Spain, which remain to this day.

5) the city of San Antonio, Texas, was founded by the people of the canary islands if you remember the Alamo, then you must also take a second to remember the Canary Islands. The City was founded by the original settlers of the canary islands and their descendants died fighting alongside Jim Bowie and Davy Crockett. The Founder of the city of São Paulo, Brazil is also on the island of Tenerife.

6) is the home of a whistled language on the island of la gomera is there a language used to communicate through long distances through valleys called \ "Silbo Gomero \". as technology has changed the ease with That people could communicate, the language is in danger of extinction in the 20. th century the government took measures to teaching the language to children in school. The whistle is actually a form of Spain. The language is used for announcements and news, not a personal conversation. It was listed as \ "Masterpiece of oral and intangible heritage of humanity" by UNESCO IN 2009.

7) in the canary islands is the only coffee plant in Europe, agaete agaete "Coffee" and has a flavor and spectacular body that make it be one of the most valued coffees in the world.
8) the average annual temperature in the canary islands is 21 degrees, and we have more than 3.000 hours of sunshine per year, which makes us the most luminous of Europe.
