‼️RACE WEEK‼️

Logan Maclean 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 lines up for Team Scotland Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, racing the Team Pursuit, Scratch Race and Points Race 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

There are not many opportunities in cycling to represent Scotland, which makes doing it at home, on one of the biggest stages in the sport, even more special! We cannot wait to be there on Saturday to watch him compete and take in the moment.

The past year has brought plenty of highs and lows, but Logan has continued to work, improve and show exactly what he is capable of. Whatever the results, we are incredibly proud and honoured to have played a part in the journey 💙

It was an honor to sponsor the Manx Viking Wheelers CC Women’s only race at the Castletown Crit for a second year in a row 💜

It’s important to have races like this where women can showcase themselves, race hard and be part of a growing women’s cycling scene on the Isle of Man 🇮🇲

The more visible women’s racing becomes, the more people it can inspire✨

A brilliant couple of weeks on the Mountain Running World Cup circuit for Ellen Crombie 🌍⛰️

6th place at the iconic Grossglockner Mountain Run in Austria 🇦🇹 followed by another 6th at the Vauban Uphill World Cup in France 🇫🇷

Two races against world class fields and two outstanding performances 💪 A huge reward for all the consistent work Ellen has put in and a clear sign that she belongs at this level. Very proud to be part of the journey. Plenty more to come 👏🔥

💗 Becky Storrie hardest Giro yet.

Nine stages, more than 34 hours of racing, nearly 24,000 kJ of work and over 10,500 m of climbing. This year’s total TSS was 16% higher than last year, with an extra 4.5 hours of riding and one additional stage.

Add in two big days in the breakaway and her highest fatigue score ever, and it gives a good picture of what stage racing really demands. It is not about producing one big effort. It is about recovering overnight, absorbing the workload and continuing to show up day after day.

Even on the final stage, Becky still spent 54m 34s above 5 W/kg.

The level of women’s professional cycling is incredibly high, and it keeps moving forward.

How do you think you would hold up?💭

Bronze medal on Great Britain debut🥉🇬🇧

A huge moment for claiming a bronze medal in the Madison with at the UCI Track World Cup in Hong Kong.

Results like this are never the product of one day. They are built through months and years of hard work, consistency, trust in the process and turning up day after day when nobody is watching.

At The Athlete Lab, we are proud to have played a small part in Logan’s journey and development along the way. The credit always goes to the athlete, but it is really special to see that work come together on a world stage.

A huge ride, a huge result and an incredibly proud moment for everyone involved. 👏

People ask me all the time what I eat in a day as a professional cyclist, so here it is.

But this is not an example of how you should fuel your day, and it is definitely not something to compare your own intake against. Every body is different, every day is different, and our energy needs can vary massively depending on training, lifestyle, goals, recovery, and so much more.

👉🏼 The only question that really matters is this: are we fuelling our body adequately for what it needs?

Some days that will mean eating more. Some days less. Some days will look structured, others more flexible. What works for one person on one day may be completely wrong for someone else.

So take this as insight, not instruction. The goal is not to eat like someone else. The goal is to fuel yourself well. 🍓🥯🥦🍫

We had athletes racing across all three events Gifford Road Race last Saturday and it was a strong start to the season all round 👊🏼

7th in the E123, putting himself right where he needs to be ahead of more track racing.

5th in her first ever road race, a brilliant ride and plenty more to come.

mcintosh hitting the deck mid race but showing real grit to get back on and finish in the front group.

long stepping up into the 3/4 as a first year junior and gaining proper race experience.
