What does it mean to be an engineering-led company? For Factor, it’s more than just the fancy tools and bright minds behind the designs. It means that engineering, not corporate forecasting, is behind every decision. Factor bikes are developed and manufactured to fill a performance need, not to follow a trend.
For every Factor design, the starting point is a performance problem rather than a date on a calendar. And it is essential that each product is raced in prototype to discover whether the design truly addresses the problem.

Why do bike brands sponsor teams and athletes? For Factor, the answer is feedback. Authentic, immediate, unvarnished feedback of how the bikes race, where they excel, and where the breaking point comes.
Racing gives engineering somewhere to test its thinking in the real world, and engineering gives racing better tools with which to go back and test it again.
That is the Factor Racing loop.

Today was a big day for Ma Petite Entreprise, a young French team in its first year racing. Their early season aggressive racing earned them a wild card entry to this year’s Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.
They’ve come in with the same attitude that they’ve taken to every race this year, fearless and out to have fun. Océane Mahé didn’t hesitate to go on the attack and made her intentions clear from the very first climb, ending up securing the first Maillot à Pois of the 2026 race.
She’s now decided Patrick Star is her lucky charm, we think it had nothing to do with luck, that was all Océane.

The Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift has something special. The racing is every bit as hard as you’d expect. But around it, there’s a feeling that’s a little different; more open, more welcoming, the kind of atmosphere that reminds you why people fall in love with cycling in the first place. That’s what inspired this project.
The Factor ONE is our most uncompromising race bike. SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick probably aren’t the first names you’d associate with it. That’s exactly the point. If these bikes make someone stop, laugh, take a photo, or watch a bike race they might otherwise have ignored, then they’ve already done something special before the riders have even pinned on a number.
Because performance can be serious. It doesn’t always have to take itself so seriously.
