Cadwell park! What a mixed weekend for me! 😂only thing I love of that place is the mountain ahaha I always smile when I get to that part of the track dunno why 😂😂was an ok weekend for me! Struggling with arm pump and some pain in my neck and back all weekend but the main thing is we finished yet again another pb on time and place. 🙂 next round is assen!

Thruxton race report. Hmmm it didn’t seem to go all find and dandy!
The engine went pop in fp1!
I was ready to pack up and go home and figure out what to do next as this year has been a bit of a struggle without some major sponsors 😞 but my old man being the best dad in the world said boy find an engine I’ll sort it the rest! So I knew some one has an engine just meant getting it picked up so the best pit board man Daniel Fairweather was on his travels to go collect the engine for us! While the main man Vince Bailey and his trusty side kick Zsolt Hermann. Got the engine I can’t thank them both enough! As soon as the engine arrived boom Vince and zsolt got it back in with a little bit of my help 🙂 and then zsolt had to leave so me and Vince finished off getting it all back together! It was a very hard and long day but hey we made it out for qualifying and we made the heat race so that’s a positive the negative thing was loosing the rear end and then the front end going in and out of church!! Fastest corner on the track 😂😂😂😂but we finished!
Qualifying p27 for main event and what an event that was! Good start I was up with the next group I need to be with and on lap 3 coming out of church I lost the front 😞 but somehow kept it up right! And then boom arm pump kicked in and I just had to hold on for the rid finished p22! Looking forwards to cadwell! Can’t thank my dad enough for everything he does for me Richard R Vella

Well guys what a busy day we had changing the engine after fp1 I really can’t thank my team around me enough! Daniel Fairweather for being the best driver and going up to collect it and then the best mate and mechanic I can ever ask for Vince Bailey for pulling there old engine out alone with my other good friend Zsolt Hermann and then helping getting the new engine back in the bike I really can’t thank my team enough especially my amazing father Richard R Vella for doing what he does and supporting me!! Thank you every one!

Well this is not the start to the weekend we needed with the bottom end letting go! So the team and my self are working hard to collect another engine and get it put in to the bike ready for tomorrow morning

All set up here at thruxton with the new set up! I can’t thank The Awning Company Gh awning enough for the fast turn around on Tuesday fixing the new awning to the race rig! Super happy with super friend bunch of guys and girls up there thank you so much!

So update from the weekend at oulton at bsb for another round of the bmw f900 championship! In plain text I struggled massively with my legs and body as this track is probably one of the most physical tracks in the country my legs struggled and so did my right arm but never the less I never gave up no matter how much pain o was in! Friday was an ok day for me and the team we went out and straight away went faster then last year even on a set of tyres that done a whole weekend at brands hatch! Saturday I went out off the heat race and I finished 13th I was happy with that! Best finish in the heat races this year!
Sunday i started p26!
I struggled from start to finish my body was in so much pain! From lap 6 I had the worst case of arm pump I had ever had in my right arm which caused me to break down and cry during the race but being determined I didn’t let that get the better of me I had some very good battles with Jordan and Darren fry! I finished p27 so I was ok with that but finishing the race was the most achieved thing I did! I can’t thank my team that I have around me enough for everything they do for me!

Brands hatch race weekend! Well it was a Friday and Saturday that I wanted to forget I could have quite happily packed up and come home Saturday night but! My best mate Vince Bailey and my amazing father Richard R Vella told me I’m better then that I’ve never given up and Sunday is a new day! So Sunday was just that!! Went out in the lcq race starting p6 had a ok start! Running p3 and the dropped back to p4 running there most of the race until I pulled my finger out and realised what James Ellison told me was true trust the front end! Trust your self and boom I clicked with the bike and set up realed Joe carnel back in and had a mega race lap after lap! Pass after pass finishing in p3! The main event was good had another good race and battle with Joe carnel and Paul back along with Jordan ashington! I wanna thank all my friend family that have supported me throughout the year! My amazing wife! That’s still by my side! And my dad! My best mate Vince and the best pit board man Daniel I could ask for!!

Hello club 62 fans!!! Hope you are all doing brilliant this week so just and update from the home round at snetterton Bsb round
Friday went out felt good on the bike even after pulling my back out of place getting out the leathers 😂so of to medic I went to get help by the amazing physio’s! Can’t thank them enough!
So went out for qualifying and we found some time from some where I’m getting more comfortable on the bike which is a massive help! Starter the weekend doing 2.05’s so I’m happy at that but the target was to get in to the 2.04’s Saturday went out for the heat race and well I started p11 and that’s the best I’ve don’t so far so I was happy with that! But the race was a different story! Fell back to p14 and had a mega batter with Joe carnell! I just beat him and still stuck in the 2.05’s so we started the main event in p28 so Sunday morning came around and me being me! I decided I wanted to do a folk spring change 😂😂so I had to do morning warm up! The bike felt a lot better apart from front end chatter so I had to add some rebound! So the main event came around!!!!
Had a good start but I forgot to do the front rebound so the bike was horrendous to ride with a lot of front end chatter!! So it took me 5 laps to figure the bike out and get my head around to ride the bike! And well oh boy I figure it out!! Setting my pb’s every lap after!! Constantly in the 2.04’s so I was super happy seeing that on the pit board! So I was super happy with that then my amazing wife Lydia Vella comes up to my in holding area to tell me in not only just smashed a 2.04 I’m now in the 2.03’s so wow that was super exciting we are getting there with the bike and being happy with how it turns!! Can’t thank everyone who’s helping me and being around me
