Still smiling. ❤️

Another year older (in 2 days 😜)… and somehow this family just keeps growing.

Seeing our HYBRD community, the MO&MACE crew, friends, partners, and so many amazing humans all together on one boat - jumping into the sea, dancing without caring, laughing way too much, and simply being kids again.

A day full of sunshine, salt water, music, and people who make life feel a little lighter.

Watching people who first met through a workout become genuine friends will never stop being special to me.
Thank you to everyone who came, celebrated, and made it such an unforgettable day.

Here’s to another year of training hard, celebrating harder, and making memories together. ☀️🛥️❤️

Crazy how fast this went… right?

The first half of the year is written.
The next six months are not.

Two years ago, I ended up in this random cycling class, and the coach said something that has stayed with me ever since.

It was July 1st, and she reminded us that the year was only halfway over - that there was still enough time to completely change how it would end.

I’ve thought about that sentence so many times since.

Looking back, it’s crazy how much can happen in just a few months.

For me, this year only really started about four months ago. And yet, looking back at everything that has unfolded already makes me excited for what’s still to come.

Six months is plenty of time to get stronger, build a business, recover from an injury, or completely change the direction you’re heading.

Here is one awesome memory from my last four months starting with the incredible Oysho Community Days.

Soft ankles leak force.
Stiff ankles kill flow.

Fix what you’re missing.

The best athletes can do both.

Four weeks ago
I could barely get out of bed.

Sciatic nerve.
No running.
No lifting.
Nothing.

Just lying there
feeling my body completely shut down.

And it reminded me of something
I think many athletes massively underestimate.

Performance isn’t just muscles.

It’s also your nervous system.

You can have the engine.
You can have the strength.
But you are not going anywhere.

Because performance doesn’t only live in the muscles.

It lives in the system
that allows everything to fire together.

And that same system
plays a huge role in recovery too.

Because healing, adapting,
coming back from injury -
that’s also regulated
by your nervous system.

Rebuilding performance
sometimes starts with something
most athletes hate:

doing nothing.

So the system
can come back online.

2016
What a great year!
So much fun. So much energy.
I honestly have no idea how I fit all of it into one day - training for myself, working an office job, building a business, and still going out at night like sleep was optional.

Wild times. Zero balance. Zero regrets.
But full of life. ❤️‍🔥 My late twenties

I don’t recognise my days anymore.

No training.
No sweating.
No pushing.
No pain I chose.

Just lying down.
Waiting.
Managing symptoms.
Counting hours instead of reps.

I am an athlete.
I am a coach.
Or at least… I was.

When your body is taken away from you,
you don’t just lose movement -
you lose language, routine, identity.

Competition photos on my phone show the athlete I’ve built,
even if I can’t step into that role at the moment.

And that’s the hardest part:
not the pain,
not the fear,
but asking yourself -
who am I when the thing that defines me is taken away?

Maybe strength isn’t always built by doing more.
Maybe sometimes it’s built by not breaking when you’re forced to stop.

By staying patient when everything in you wants to push.
By trusting that this isn’t weakness - it’s part of the process.

I don’t have all the answers yet.
But I know this:

I’m still an athlete - even when I can’t train.
I’m still a coach - even when I can’t demonstrate.
And I’m still moving forward,
even if right now, that movement is invisible.

This isn’t where the story stops.
It’s where it deepens.

I’ve been quieter here lately - and for a reason.

My injury forced me to slow down.
So I shifted my energy into my business.

And instead of fighting the injury, I went with it - and used the time to do what most athletes skip: reflect.

Not just on training volume or numbers, but on:
– what actually works
– what just feels productive
– what the body keeps asking for

Before the year changes, I like to do this across all areas:
training, personal, and professional life.

I don’t like leaving progress on the table.
I lived/trained a full year — and it would be a waste not to take the learnings with me just because I’m afraid to look honestly at both mistakes and successes.

So, take a step back to make two steps forward in 2026 🙌

A madhouse 😅 but honestly the best madhouse you could wish to work in.

People you wanna have around!

Just thank you!

This party was our whole year wrapped into one night - laughter (a lot of it), dedication, real crew love, hard work and celebration.

Sad there’s no picture with everyone who was there… but yeah, that’s probably exactly how the night should’ve been 😅
