An exercise every Pilates teacher should know
YES we believe every Pilates teacher should understand, teach, and experience this pilates exercise which is why we are including it in our Pilates Teacher training school.
Why include it?
It adds an additional intermediate lateral flex exersise to the method (dare we say that there is an excessive amount of extention and flex in the original series and not enough lateral flex...gasp...dont kill me fellow teachers🥰)
Great teachers don't just learn exercises—they learn the purpose behind them, and nowdays we feel its important to also relevent to consider their COMPATIBILITY WITH MODERN LIVING. Understanding the "why" allows us to teach with confidence, creativity, and clarity.
What do you think? Should this exercise be included in our Simplybepilates school manual? We'd love to hear your thoughts below! 👇
SimplyBe pilates and yoga, massage and osteopathy

Pilates is a uniquely intelligent and precise form of exercise and body-conditioning developed by Joseph Pilates, Pilates trains the body as an integrated whole
Osteopathy is a manual therapy that heals the body, reduces pain and increases the bodies ability to work well
PSA for our lovely latecomers 😂💛
Please try to arrive before class starts… because once we get going we are all in and may not be able to let you in.
What is the big deal you ask?
1. Bursting in late is basically a distrubtion for the whole class. Moving mats, distracting not to mention the teacher leavibg the room to answer the door.
2. Skipping the warm-up = your muscles filing a formal complaint tomorrow
3. We, as teachers are in the zone.
So if we refuse late entry, please don’t punish us with a spicy 1-star review 🌶️ We promise we’re not being mean — we’re just trying to keep everyone safe, focused, and vibing together

Why do we think our Barre classes are the best in Barcelona?
It is easy, there is no stopping— just switching muscle groups
Here is the science🤓
Changing muscle groups keeps your heart rate lifted while giving one area a moment to recover, so you can keep pushing with strength, control, and endurance. That continuous resistance builds long, lean strength, deeper stretch, better stamina, and keeps those endorphins flowing the entire class.
It also means you recover faster and even though its tough, it works for all levels even pregnancy!
It is UNDERSTATED to say that and i look cute cute cute, new Rubi Snacks summer collection coming soon. ☀️now 20% on all store stock!
