July founder update for those who don’t watch WAM’s stories or really love recaps 😉
This month was a bit slower than usual - I took some time off myself, and so did most of my collaborators and suppliers. But that doesn’t mean things aren’t moving forward. It’s actually quite the opposite and I’m already setting things in motion for late August and September 😄
Also, I HAD to add that last slide. Please share your best tips on how to stay cool 😂

TECHNICALLY every flavour WAM has ever launched was already a limited edition 🤫
I order the smallest batch my manufacturer allows, because that’s what a self-funded brand can actually afford. It’s safe to say I’m not a fan of “scarcity marketing”. If you like a flavour, it stays. If it doesn’t, it might never come back (though this didn’t happen yet).
That being said, the next flavour will either be coconut or strawberry - but the development will still take some time 🌱

“Vegan protein is incomplete!” 😱
You’ve probably heard it before. And technically, yes - most plants are limited in one or more essential amino acids. But that doesn’t mean vegan diets are lacking in protein quality. It just means the full picture is a bit more interesting than that.
Eat a variety of plant protein sources across the day, and your body gets what it needs. Some plants — soy, quinoa, h**p, buckwheat — are complete sources on their own. And if you use a protein powder, look for a blend of multiple plant sources rather than a single one.
The myth isn’t the whole story.

Chocolate Hazelnut 🍫
The second WAM flavour created, and still one of your favourites (regularly going head-to-head with Pure Vanilla).
Are you team Vanilla or team Chocolate?

When to use protein powder — and when you don’t need it 👇
If you’ve ever wondered whether protein powder is actually necessary, or just when it makes sense to use it — this one’s for you.
There’s nothing wrong with using it as a convenient option: stirred into your morning oats, as a quick snack between meals, or post-workout when a full meal is still a while away. But it works best as a supplement to your diet, not the foundation of it. Lean on it too heavily and you might miss out on the carbs, fats, and fiber that whole foods bring.
Protein powder is a tool. Food is more than fuel.

Founder-Roundup for June 😉
I actually love doing these posts that feel a bit more personal.
Half the time I’m way too busy worrying about things to appreciate how far this brand has come - putting these together makes me stop and reflect 😅
Hope they are interesting for you, too 😄
