When I was stuck in a so-called vicious circle in the past, when my mind was repeating the same sentences, arguments, over and over, without seeing the solution, I was actually going deeper and deeper in despair because I wanted to find a solution very badly but instead, I felt more and more stuck.

The more I tried to come up with a solution by going through the scenarios that I already went through, the less clarity I had.

But I didn’t want to ask for help, I wanted to find the way out on my own.

I couldn’t. By that time, I was already too deep in the hole.

A friend of my friend was a coach in training and he needed practice clients. I volunteered because as a coach, I had to go through similar practices.

During our sessions we talked about the topics I wanted to talk about and of course, the vicious circle came out.

He helped me. I got the clarity I needed to do the steps I needed to do and I moved out of the vicious circle.

Today, I see it as life having helped me to get out of it through that coach in training.

My learning over the years is the following:
- Sometimes I can help myself to get out of certain issues and vicious circles, esp. when I am able to step back and look at it from outside or leave it for some time and not think about it at all.

- And sometimes I simply can’t help myself because I am involved too much in the topic and I can’t see the full picture, or I see it from the same angle each and every time. That’s the time when I ask for help to get a new perspective, to ask me questions that help me to get a new perspective because very often it’s just that – a new perspective, a new angle, a new question….

I haven't seen my daughter for three weeks because I was in the Czech Republic and she was in Spain.

During my stay there I went through various processes and realisations.

The day I was flying to Spain with the joy to see her, spend time with her and be close to her, I see her name written on the seat in front of me on the plane....

I couldn't believe my eyes, especially because her name isn't frequently used...

It's as if she was the one who wrote her name during one of ours trips in the past, who knows...
