IAFA was founded 2011 with the support of the FAI Football For All National Coordinator. Our Aim is to build a team to represent Ireland at international competitions as well as form a strong national league with all clubs involved. The national league currently consists of Bohemians FC, Cork City FC, Shamrock Rovers FC, & AFA Scotland. Interested in joining the team and putting on the green jersey? We meet every second Saturday for training and new players are always welcome. For queries email :

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Irish Amputee Football Association will no longer be competing at this year’s WAFF Amputee Football World Cup, taking place from 13–22 November.

As a result, Ukraine will now take Ireland’s place in the tournament and we wish them the best of luck.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported the Irish Amputee Football Association over the past 15 years. Your continued support, encouragement and belief in our players and association means more than we can put into words.

While this is not the news we had hoped to share, the association remains committed to moving forward and continuing to grow the game of amputee football in Ireland. 🇮🇪
