Back in February, these two were taking their very first kite lessons. This June, they're riding independently, working on their first jump attempts, and reaching one of the first big milestones at Lost Lagoon: confidently making it all the way to the sandbank on their own.

Watching this journey unfold is one of the most rewarding parts of being an instructor. Seeing confidence grow, celebrating every small step, and eventually watching students no longer need you—that's what makes teaching so special.
