We were recently informed that a new law has been put into effect as from now on
According to Article 6 of Law 31 for 2023 - there is to be a 10% Entertainment Tax applied to all entertainment activities which include all diving and snorkel activities and the equipment that is hired to perform these.
Unfortunately, this new law results in a 10% increase on the diving services that you have booked as a part of your package with us here at Divers’Lodge.
We can only apologize for this unexpected and last-minute charge and hope that you understand that we have no power over any new Tax law implemented by our Government here in Egypt.
As a result, the 10% will be calculated and added to your diving bill which is payable at the end of your stay/diving with us.
