Let’s practice ditching the “all or nothing mindset” 🙃
At this point, we need to embrace realistic and joyful movement by focusing on “energy” not “appearance” and redefining “workout” 🙏🏼
It doesn’t have to be a full hour of high intensity training, think instead of walking or dancing in the kitchen with your baby 💃🏻
Your postpartum fitness journey should be reframed around consistency over perfectionism 🌸

Motherhood is a monumental shift and it’s completely normal to feel like your own needs have taken a backseat to the tiny, demanding human you now hold in your arms. But here is the truth from the heart, self care IS NOT SELFISH, it is essential.
And since you can’t pour from an empty cup, taking some time for yourself is making sure you have the strength, patience and love to show up for your baby as the best version of yourself 🌸
A talk from the heart with my coach friend Samira Khalil about finding that balance between motherhood and self-care as she shares her own experience; between struggles and wins ⭐️
Getting back to exercise after childbirth is rarely a linear process. It is highly individualized and depends on a variety of physical , emotional and logistical factors ☺️☺️☺️
The “snap back” culture you see on social media is often a curated illusion that ignores the biological reality of healing🌸
Societal pressure tends to treat the six-week checkup like a green light to go back to 100%, but for many it’s just the beginning to feeling like themselves again☺️
Don’t feel guilty for prioritizing “sleep” over a workout or simply sitting down when the baby is finally asleep☺️
And when it’s time, work with a professional who can bridge the gap between the medical “all clear” and actually being ready for physical activity. ☺️
No fancy captions here, just a little story about me….for a change 😇🫣
No superpowers , just a mom of two showing up everyday - powered by caffeine 😅☕️
Balancing training with slowing down in Ramadan is completely possible, it just requires a small shift in mindset and structure.
And since Ramadan is about intentional slowing down, connection with our Creator and conserving energy, our training should support that - not fight it
So training in Ramadan is less about pushing limits and more about managing energy intelligently.
Once this mindset is set, it reduces stress and aligns better with the spiritual purpose of the month 🌙
Always prioritize consistency over intensity during Ramadan to reap the benefits of this special month.

Another challenging year coming to an end. With challenge comes growth so I’m grateful for all the ups and downs.
My wishes for 2022:
1- Drink my morning coffee without having to re-heat it 3 times😅.
2- Be able to run Hers Studios the best possible way🥸
3- See the world as a safer place, with no pandemics & diseases.
4- Positively influence many women’s lives as I didn’t have much time last year.
5- Work more on ME and my personal growth.
6- Last but not least, start NURSERY to be able to do all of the above …hahaha 😂
Happy new year 2022 to all of you 🥂 💕
