Silsilah Dance Programme

ve dance training programme over the period of 6 months. The outcome of the programme is usually an original dance piece that is performed on the stage of the Big Theatre of Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Targeting a group of young adults between 18 and 25 years old, Silsilah Dance Programme holds auditions in the beginning of each edition to select a group of 15 to 20 participants to enroll in the programme. With a selection of certified and experienced instructors from Egypt and abroad, the participants have the chance to receive a comprehensive training in contemporary dance, ballet, body contact improvisation, body and mind centering, and yoga. They also go through a creation process to create a performance that is the final outcome of their work over the period of the project.
