🇪🇪 Top 9 in the World!

From July 1–5, Halifax, Canada 🇨🇦 hosted the 2026 ICF Junior & U23 Canoe Sprint World Championships.

We are incredibly proud of our club athlete Roman Orlov, who delivered an outstanding performance by finishing 7th in the Men’s K1 1000m Final — one of the most prestigious and demanding Olympic canoe sprint events.

Reaching the Top 9 in the world is a remarkable achievement and a testament to Roman’s dedication, hard work, and determination.

The progress speaks for itself:
➡️ 18th place at the 2025 World Championships
➡️ 7th place at the 2026 World Championships

This result motivates us even more as we now turn our focus to the 2026 European Championships, taking place July 23–26 in Szeged, Hungary. 🇭🇺

1.–5. juulini Kanadas 🇨🇦Halifaxis toimunud Juunioride Maailmameistrivõistlustel saavutas meie klubi kasvandik ja liider Roman Orlov🇪🇪 suurepärase tulemuse, tulles ühesüstas 1000 meetri distantsil seitsmendale kohale.💪🔥
See ala ( meestesüst 1000 m) on olümpiadistsipliin, meie spordiala kõige keerulisem ja konkurentsitihedam võistlusklass, mida mitteametlikult kutsutakse "aerutamise kuningannaks"!
Maailma üheksa tugevaima aerutaja hulka jõudmine on tohutu edu ja tõestus sportlase kõrgest kvalifikatsioonist.
Eelmisel aastal oli Roman samal distantsil MM-l 18. kohal. Progress on ilmne!
Oleme Romani tulemuse üle uhked ja valmistume Euroopa meistrivõistlusteks, mis toimuvad 23.–26.07.26 Ungaris Szegedis.✌️
