🚣 Yukon 1000 – Day 5 Update 🫣

Day 5 brought remarkable stability at the front of the field, with the top six teams holding position for a second consecutive day. Furtuna Skin (22) continues to lead overall, ahead of 4 Hour Fuel (12), while Kings Of The Canyon (7) remains the highest-placed canoe team in 3rd overall.

The most notable movements came in the midfield. Race veterans, Kate and Steve in Your Other Left (20) climbed from 8th to 7th, and Estonian team Far From Home (25) moved into the overall top 10.

🛶 Canoe vs Kayak Watch

The leading canoe crews remain unchanged, with locals Kings Of The Canyon (7) and Yukon Vikings (6) firmly established in 3rd and 6th overall. The biggest canoe gain came from Dokimazo (1) who are really putting the foot down, which climbed two places from 13th to 11th overall and moved ahead of Canadians Giants Wake (4) to become the third-ranked canoe.

Among the kayaks, Your Other Left (20) was the main mover upward, while Lookout! Roo! Paddle! (11) and Trilogy (10) each slipped two positions.

With the leaders holding steady and the midfield continuing to reshuffle, the pressure is building as the race heads into Day 6. Teh dreaded flats.
