Yamato Fujita (藤田 倭) es la gran estrella de doble vía del sóftbol mundial, considerada el equivalente a Shohei Ohtani en la disciplina por su capacidad de dominar la élite tanto desde la lomita como con un bate de poder temible. Medallista de oro con Japón en Tokio 2020 y múltiple MVP en la JD.League, Fujita combina lanzamientos de máxima velocidad con cuadrangulares decisivos en los momentos de mayor presión internacional. Pude fotografiarla en el torneo clasificatorio del mundial de softbol en Lima, Perú. Partido contra Puerto Rico. Desliza.

I had the chance to photograph her during the WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Qualifiers in Lima, Peru, in their matchup against Puerto Rico.

El II Campeonato Internacional de Sóftbol 2026 se llevó acabo del 13 al 17 de agosto en el Estadio de Sóftbol “Tierra de Campeones” en Iquique, Chile. 🇨🇱 El torneo contó con el aval de la WBSC SOFTBALL AMERICAS.
