By participating in The FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition, students apply engineering and scientific knowhow to design, build and operate a robot following detailed guidelines, and compete in games following strict rules and regulations. This involves applying engineering, marketing, organizational and business skills, with the help of Mentors and professionals, who donate their time and knowledge. Students not only learn valuable skills, but also, the Principles that guide FIRST; Leadership, Competition trough Cooperation, and Gracious Professionalism. Being a part of FIRST will provide Lux Mundi students with invaluable skills and real world experience, and will help them become a Force for change in our community.
