Dive Cabarete

We know when a bad storm is coming when our friend Morena comes and wants to stay the night in the dive shop. Of course we let her stay. Here at Dive Cabarete, we try our best to take care of the animals both in the sea and land. Did you know that 10% of all tours goes toward helping street dogs and cats?

Sabemos que se acerca una tormenta fuerte cuando nuestra amiga Morena viene y quiere pasar la noche en la tienda de buceo. Por supuesto que la dejamos quedar. Aquí en Dive Cabarete, nos esforzamos por cuidar a los animales, tanto marinos como terrestres. ¿Sabías que el 10% de todas las excursiones se destina a ayudar a perros y gatos callejeros?

Shark! Don’t worry it’s just a nurse shark. Nurse sharks are not aggressive by nature. You’ll typically find them resting in rocks or in the sand, but today our divers got to see one swim!

¡Tiburón! No se preocupen, es solo un tiburón enfermera. Los tiburones enfermeras no son agresivos por naturaleza. Normalmente se les encuentra descansando entre las rocas o en la arena, ¡pero hoy nuestros buceadores pudieron ver uno nadar!
