With over 20 years of experience riding and teaching in Cabarete, Aryen founded AGK Kite School to share his lifelong passion for wind and water sports. From former pro rider to certified master instructor, he’s helped hundreds of students master kiteboarding, wing foiling, and strapless wave riding safely and confidently.

Marcos – Kitesurf & Wingfoil Instructor

Marcos’s journey with us began at just 13 years old. Starting from the ground up, he spent five years as a key member of our beach crew—launching, landing, and assisting riders while mastering every aspect of wind and gear safety. His dedication paid off in 2022 when he officially stepped into the role of certified Kitesurfing and Wingfoil Instructor.

Having literally grown up on this beach, Marcos brings an unmatched understanding of local conditions, endless patience, and a genuine passion for guiding students from their very first launch to riding the waves independently. 🎉🥳

Sinking during your kite transitions? 🪁 Here is the fix: Stop rushing the kite.

Most riders dive the kite too early and lose power. Try this instead:

1️⃣ Edge upwind to slow down.
2️⃣ Bring the kite to 12 o’clock and wait for the lift.
3️⃣ Pivot your board, then dive the kite to ride away.

Let the kite lift you before you make your move. 🤙

🛸 There’s nothing quite like the feeling of flight.

If you’ve never experienced wingfoiling, it’s hard to put into words. Once the board lifts off the water and the foil engages, all the friction, drag, and noise just... vanish. You’re literally gliding on a cushion of air.

It’s smooth, silent, and incredibly addictive.
