A Fleet of 16x SSL on Lake Neuchatel (SUI) makes the racing full of action and fast decision. BKM (SRB) and RBH (IRL) fighting for position. And in the heat of battle they seem to lose the overview of the race. STARBOARD! And two boats incoming from starboard.

We are back from vacation, the Community is ready for starting up the first series of international regattas. The End of Summer Series is on and will be raced every Monday from 24th August to 28th of November.

💥DOUBLE PENALTY - GREAT OFFENCE DOWNWIND | PlayeSailing
Jerseytbw (GBR) is doing great offensive moves. Using the rules to claim his position in the downwind racing. Enjoy how rule 11 is used.

Rule 11 - On the same tack
When boats are on the same tack and overlapped, a windward boat shall keep clear of a leeward boat.

What could the other boats defend themselves?

It is Thursday and we are doing our international regatta. Today I am racing and explaining how the game works. Last week I won the regatta.

THREE GREAT STARTS IN TORNADO | PlayeSailing
Timing, rules, speed, strategy and tactics is all elements in making a great start. In this clip you see three great starts.

1️⃣ Jakob (DEN) defending his position against Kips3r (GBR)
2️⃣ Jinerationx (GBR) closing the starting line so Jerseytbw (GBR) can not cross it and needs to either collide with the committee boat or tack away.
3️⃣ Mudcreek (CAN) doing a downwind start and comes unseen into the starting line with speed.

Doing a pin end start with success is a high risk but high reward start. Peterbc (DEN) is a sailor and know this, and somehow he manage to pull of this start.

FOLLOW THE GREEN BOAT

BATTLE FOR THE OVERALL VICTORY | PlayeSailing
Jerseytbw (GBR) and Jakob (DEN) did have a great battle for the victory of the overall regatta. But it was in the medal race the result was sealed. Jakob (DEN) had the control and was in a good position to push out Jerseytbw (GBR). But a wrong decision changed the roles!
