I think I’ve been thinking about childhood a little differently since becoming a mom.

Because what do we actually want our children to remember?

The big things, of course. Birthdays, Christmas mornings, holidays, family traditions…

But I have a feeling that some of the memories that stay with us the longest are the really simple ones. 🌿

Running around outside until it got dark. Muddy hands. Picking berries. Swimming in the sea even when the water was freezing. Climbing rocks. Finding little treasures that felt like the most important thing in the world.

I grew up in Northern Norway, so nature was always a big part of my childhood. And I was lucky to have a dad who taught me to appreciate it. He showed me how much there is to discover, and I think that’s where my own love for nature really started.

And now, watching William experience it all for the first time, I realise how much I want that for him too.

Maybe it’s even more important now, when our children are growing up surrounded by screens, technology and constant entertainment. I don’t want him to miss out on the magic of simply being outside — getting dirty, being curious, exploring, being bored, noticing the little things and looking up at the sky just to wonder. 🤍

Because maybe you don’t learn to care about something until you first learn to love it.

And if there’s one thing I hope William carries with him into adulthood, it’s that connection to nature. The same connection my dad gave me.

What’s one childhood memory in nature that you still remember vividly — and would love for your own children to experience one day? 🌿👇🏻

Yoga teacher: “Feel free to modify!”
Yoga student (also me): “No. I must suffer.” 🤡🙃

Been there? Because SAME 😅

It’s funny how we sometimes treat yoga like an extreme sport, refusing to modify even when our body is literally screaming at us.

But here’s the thing: modifications aren’t “cheating”—they’re how you actually get stronger, go deeper into your practice, and avoid injuries💡

So if your hamstrings are super tight (like mine often are), bend your knees. If your wrists feel like they’re about to quit life, drop to your forearms. If a pose isn’t working for you today, switch it up. Yoga isn’t about suffering—it’s about listening 👏

Now tell me, be honest… do you modify when needed, or are you out here fighting for your life on the mat? 😂👇

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what it means to “belong.”

I live in Denmark now, but I’m from Norway — and so many of the people I love live there, spread all across the country.

So where do I actually belong?

The truth is… I don’t feel tied to one single place anymore.

And honestly, that’s both a gift and a challenge.

There are days when I wish I could gather everyone I love in one spot. Have dinner with my family, go for a walk with an old friend, pop by for coffee with someone I haven’t seen in too long.

But there’s also something really beautiful in having people you love in different places — it means your heart grows bigger, stretched by every connection and every memory.

I might not have one hometown anymore. But I have tiny pieces of “home” in so many places.

And maybe that’s just as meaningful.

So if you’ve ever felt like you’re living between places, missing people who live far away, or like your heart doesn’t fully belong to one city or country… you’re not alone.

I see you. And maybe, just maybe, we don’t need to belong to a place — maybe we belong to the people. 💛

🎙️ Voiceover by — thank you for putting this feeling into words so beautifully 🤍

Heia Norge!! 🇳🇴👶🏼🥰

This is so accurate for me 🙈

Honestly… sometimes I feel way more relaxed after moving through a yoga flow than after hours of just lying on the couch 🛋️

Even though it’s technically “working out,” it’s like my whole body and mind finally get the rest they need ✨

Movement doesn’t always have to be intense to be powerful — sometimes a little mindful movement is exactly what calms the storm inside 🧘‍♀️

Can you relate? 🌸 I’d love to hear what makes you feel truly rested.

Super creamy, packed with protein and healthy fats, and the best part… it literally takes 2 minutes to make! ⏱️

Breakfast really sets the tone for my day. When I start with something nourishing, my energy stays steady, I don’t snack between meals, and those sugar cravings just don’t hit.

✨ My 2-Minute Breakfast:

* 2 big spoonfuls of full-fat Greek yoghurt
* 1 big scoop of cottage cheese
* A handful of frozen berries blueberries 🫐
* A splash of milk of your choice

Toppings:

* 1 spoonful peanut butter 🥜
* A sprinkle of coconut flakes 🥥
* A handful of fresh berries 🍓

Blend the first four ingredients until creamy, pour into a bowl, add your toppings, and enjoy! 😍 Tastes like dessert and keeps me full until lunch 😊

Have you tried anything like this? I’d love to hear your favorite quick breakfast combos! 🧡

Four months of you 🤍

And somehow… four months of becoming someone new, too.

I used to have structure.
Routines.
Time to do it all.

Slow mornings with coffee, long to-do lists, plans for the day.

Now my days begin whenever he decides they do… and unfold in naps, feeds, and quiet moments in between ☕️

Time feels softer now.
Less planned — more felt.

I’ve had to change in ways I didn’t expect.
Slow down. Let go. Choose differently.

Including this space.

Because the truth is…
I haven’t just been less active here —
I’ve been somewhere else entirely.

Right here.
With him.

Choosing to be present in the smallest moments that somehow feel like everything.

So I work when I have a little extra energy… which, if I’m honest, hasn’t been that often these past months 🤭

But I wouldn’t trade it. Not for anything.

Because these past four months have held
the most exhausting, overwhelming,
heart-expanding love I’ve ever known.

A love that has quietly reshaped me
in ways I’m still learning to understand.

And right now…
this is my whole world.
And I’m choosing to be fully in it 🤍

So grateful to .robanke.dk for capturing these moments so beautifully 📸

Some days your body feels heavy.
Your mind feels foggy. And coffee just isn’t cutting it ☕️ That’s when I come back to this kind of movement… slow, intentional, and grounding ✨ Not to push — but to gently create energy from within.

For years, fat was something I tried to minimize. Now? I intentionally include it — because science is very clear on this.

Decades of research show that healthy fats are not just “allowed” — they’re essential.

✔️ Large meta-analyses have found that replacing refined carbohydrates with unsaturated fats improves blood sugar regulation and insulin sensitivity.

✔️ Omega-3 and monounsaturated fats are associated with reduced inflammation and better cardiovascular health.

✔️ Fat is necessary for absorbing fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K). Without dietary fat, your body literally cannot use them properly.

✔️ Dietary fat slows gastric emptying, which increases satiety hormones like CCK and helps stabilize energy levels.

Your brain is nearly 60% fat.
Your hormones are built from cholesterol.
Your cells depend on fatty acids to function.

When I stopped fearing fat and started focusing on quality instead — fewer ultra-processed oils, more whole-food sources — my energy became steadier, my cravings calmer, and my relationship with food softer.

The research doesn’t support the old “fat makes you fat” narrative.

What it does support is this: whole-food sources of unsaturated fats are consistently linked to better metabolic health outcomes.

This isn’t about trends. It’s about physiology.

Beautiful souls — have you unlearned any old food rules lately? 💛

It’s the small adjustments that make the biggest difference in your practice 🤩

Like the moment you realize... ohh, if I just shift my foot a little, or soften my ribs, or actually breathe through the pose-it changes everything 🙏🏻

Yoga doesn’t have to be intense or fancy to be powerful. Sometimes the magic is in a tiny tweak that brings more ease, more strength, or more awareness ☺️

What small adjustment have you made lately that felt surprisingly powerful? Tell me below-I’m always curious to learn from your experiences too! ❤️
