Danish Crosskart Championship Round 5 ends with gold🏆 🏁

This weekend was all about Alekss.

Heat 1 – Heat win. Great start and a controlled race from lights to flag.

Heat 2 – Another heat win. Calm, clean and fast.

Heat 3 – Unfortunately, he listened to one of my ideas about cutting the curbs a little more. It didn’t work out and cost him the heat.

I just told him afterwards:
“Now you know where the limit is.” 😄
Sometimes that’s how you learn.

Heat 4 – Back to winning.

Final – Perfect drive. Straight into the lead and never looked back.

Three heat wins and a final win.

We are incredibly proud of him. This weekend he showed real commitment, confidence and maturity behind the wheel.

Now he is racing at the very top of the Danish Championship. Let’s see how it goes 💪🏼

As for me…

This Crosskart event was always meant to be a one-off experience.

Heat 1 – Engine stalled on the start line.

Heat 2 – Good start, but the rear wheel key failed, leaving only one rear wheel driving.

Heat 3 – Engine stalled again.

Heat 4 – Engine stalled once more.

Before the final, the gearshift issues.

We also never had the chance to set the suspension up for the hot, high-grip asphalt conditions.

Despite all of that, whenever I started driving, it was fun and I got faster.

That was enough for me to know one thing…

Crosskart deserves 100% commitment, and if I do something, I want to do it properly.

So this will most likely be my first and last Crosskart event for now.

Now all focus goes back to helping Alekss fight for the Danish Championship and continuing my own Super2000 Rallycross journey.
