How to bike in the rain?
Rainy rides are part of everyday cycling, especially this time of year.
The good news is that a better wet-weather ride often comes down to a few small adjustments, not one big fix.
We’ve turned some of our main rainy-ride reminders into a short carousel below:
🔵 Slow down and brake earlier
🔵 Make visibility a priority
🔵 Watch for puncture risk after rain
🔵 Give the bike a little care afterwards
One point that surprised even us the first time we learned it: the risk of a flat tire can increase after rainfall, because rain can turnover stones or wash sharp debris and small stones into the riding line.
Hopefully useful for anyone commuting, heading to meetings, or just trying to make the rainy-season ride a little easier.
Happy biking!
