Jupiter in Leo 🦁

One of the most significant astrological transits of the year takes place this week as Jupiter moves into Leo, where it will remain for the next twelve months.

In astrology, Jupiter is growth, expansion, possibility, and meaning. It tends to amplify the qualities of the sign it moves through, bringing greater attention to the themes that are asking to develop, deepen, and take up more space in our lives.

Over the past year, Jupiter travelled through Cancer, the sign of belonging, emotional nourishment, and emotions. This transit invited many of us to soften, reconnect with what truly sustains us, and cultivate a deeper sense of support within ourselves and our communities.

Now, as Jupiter moves through Leo, the focus begins to shift. Leo is a fire sign ruled by the Sun. It’s the sign of the heart, creativity, joy, self-expression, and the courage to be seen. Where Cancer gathers and nourishes, Leo expresses and radiates.

Over the coming year, Jupiter in Leo will amplify authenticity, creativity, and the relationship we have with our own self-expression. It will move us beyond seeking belonging and toward being seen more fully within the communities and spaces we already inhabit.

When we think of Leo we often think of visibility, but at its core Leo speaks to the courage of living from the heart. Self-expression by bringing more of ourselves into what we create, how we connect, and how we move through the world.
After a year centred around emotional deepening and nourishment, Jupiter in Leo allows us to bring that nourishment outward and share it with the world around us.

As we open to summer and the Summer Solstice on June 21st, we arrive at the peak of the light.

After a long winter and spring of unfolding, nature stands in full bloom. The days are long, the evenings stretch on, and everything seems to radiate with life. The Solstice marks the height of this expression, a moment when all that has been growing reaches toward the sun.

There is something beautiful about pausing here. Before the days slowly begin to shorten again, we are offered a moment to appreciate where we are, what we have been building toward, and what is now coming into bloom.

Like all significant moments in nature’s cycle, the Solstice invites reflection. It reminds us that we, too, are part of these rhythms. As the Earth turns and the seasons shift, we have an opportunity to reconnect with the natural world around us and the unfolding taking place within us.

As we reach the Summer Solstice, we also enter Cancer season. A season of nurture, belonging, community, and tending to the roots that sustain us. A reminder that growth is not only found in reaching upward, but also in caring for what supports us beneath the surface.

What a beautiful way to enter summer: in the light, in community, and in devotion to ourselves, to one another, and to the simple moments that nourish us.
