🌍💚 My low activity on this profile does not mean that I have stopped working to change the way we handle litter and the culture surrounding it—quite the opposite!

Since late October 2025, I have been working on creating an NGO in Copenhagen with the goal of bringing together local cleanup groups and citizens who want to join forces and make a real difference. 🤝♻️

Our ambitions are simple but powerful:
✨ Grow our community.
✨ Build a strong and influential voice.
✨ Organize regular cleanups in every part of Copenhagen.
✨ Normalize picking up litter.
✨ Encourage more sustainable choices in everyday life.
✨ Inspire more acts of kindness and care for our shared spaces. 🌱🌍

Together, we can create a cleaner, greener, and more caring city—one small action at a time. 💚

Follow our journey at and keep up the amazing work yourselves! 🙌♻️💚

A quick 15 minutes cleanup the morning after New Years Eve and two big bags of trash collected 🫣

Happy New Year everyone 🥳

I hope we will need to look harder for these amounts of trash during the year of 2026❗️

My focus the last couple of months has been on creating a new organization of volunteering trashheroes called Plogging København.

Please follow this new project of mine, where I am trying to gather volunteering forces in the caoital of Denmark.

A lovely summer holiday in Japan and South Korea with my family is over 🔆 and today was time to pick up on the long hard inspiration tour de forever on litterpicking and change of culture.

At least ten volunteers supported the effort today, myself included.

Lærke, Camilla and her daughter were here again 🥰 Helle and her husband Alexandr debuted after considering to join several times and a man, his two daughters under 10 years old and their grandma, I suppose, helped a bit as well 🚮

Those were the ones I met today, but there are always more since I always leave all the gear with a note of just borrow it and return it on a specific end of event.

There is a heavy pressure on the park at summer time and a vibrant athmosphere with loads of joyfull moments with friends and family, but also loads of litter dropped in the bushes.

We cleared some small bushy areas and still relieved Fælledparken of 83 kg of trash❗️

offered coffee and ice cream for the volunteers 🙏😊

Every last Sunday in the month at 10AM to 1PM, I will be doing the cleanups in Fælledparken.

Hope all of you feel richer on life since my last post 😘

In the last two photos, you see the home pitch of the football club in the background. They are neighbours to Fælledparken, and I have high hopes on FCK to support our cleanups by once in a while handing out free tickets for matches for the volunteers to come and visit the home athmosphere at Denmarks most succesfull football team 🦁

On the stadium it says: Vi er København - We are Copenhagen". I hope it goes outside the stadium as well 😉

Today was my monthly cleanup in Fælledparken, always the last Sunday of the month from 10AM to 1PM.

It was a great 🌞 day in an area often highly polluted with trash. I was here three weeks ago and removed 1️⃣0️⃣2️⃣ kg of trash.

Today Torben, his son William, Solveig and maybe a handfull more were helping out, and we succeeded in removing 4️⃣7️⃣,2️⃣ kg of trash the exact same place❗️

I am slowly making deals with local businesses to cooperate by showing some appreciation to the efforts of the volunteers and so far a supermarket Tjæpt on Blegdamsvej sponsors big recycled sacks for the events and offers a cup of coffee or a slush ice for the volunteers after the cleanup and has offered an icecream for the kids.

In July I will visit Japan and South Korea, holidaying with my family for a month. I plan to drop by a cleanup in Tokyo arranged by and a cleanup on Jeju Island arranged by if possible 🙏🌏

When I am back I will put some energy in trying to engage the local community businesses. To begin with I will try to make deals with the local cultural event providers in hope to see them acknowledging the volunteers by offering tickets to see the local football club , dress reherarsels for theater performances at and , tickets for museums and other cultural events. I hope they will support the great efforts of the volunteers 🙏

Going on summer holiday! Take care everyone for our 🌎 and yourselves!

Quite a lot of early birds joined the cleanup in Fælledparken this morning at 🕗-🕙AM.

Between 15-20 people joined, and most of all small citizens younger than 8 years old along with their parents, but also the lovely and always helpful retired lady: Grete and Solveig, a very active and super user of the park.

I am high on helpfull people and lovely kids being overly thrilled by the fascinating snapper/grabber🧑‍🦯

The really great part is that I can see a group of dedicated local trash heroes in the making and it just makes me really happy not feeling utterly alone on this serious matter 🙏😁

Together we did well by removing 1️⃣0️⃣2️⃣,8️⃣ kg trash from Sansehaven and the nearby surroundings❗️

Next cleanup in Fælledparken will be June 22 at 10AM to 1PM, meeting at Tårnlegepladsen 🤗

Happy Trashing out there 🚮

Lots of life, laughter, play, activity, coziness and happy people, but also an explosion of trash and not least the bicycle thieves are super active. Especially the area in the bushes between Riget and Fælledparken.

A total of 9️⃣5️⃣,7️⃣ kg of trash collected, and a large part of it was bicycle fenders and bicycle baskets from stolen bicycles that have been peeled and presumably sold.

Three stolen bicycles had not yet been peeled, one of which was simply stolen again from the collected trash while I was out collecting more 🚮

I only collected trash from the bushes between the Tårnlegepladsen/scooter track and then almost up to the end of the road between Riget and Fælledparken, so there is still quite a bit of trash on that small stretch.

I hope to see more volunteers come to lend a hand for just half an hour or a full hour in the near future because it is obvious that the amount of trash we produce, there is no municipal cleaning service that can keep up with keeping it down even moderately without any of us citizens who produce the trash helping 🙏

Unfortunately, I couldn't take a picture at the end where more bicycle baskets, bicycle screens and 3-4 more bags were added to the pile, but my phone went black and that is why I today, six days later are making a little late update on the cleanup.

The next cleanup are tomorrow on June 8th at 8-10 am (usually 10-1 pm, but this day is an exception) at Sansehaven in Fælledparken❗️

The weekly cleanup at Fælledparken ended in a very rainy day and a little too thirsty phone that needed a day off for drying.

Now it is back on track and I can tell you a couple of guys didn't get scared off by the weather and supported the cleanup by a total of 2️⃣7️⃣,2️⃣ kg of trash removed from the park near The French Playground as it is called 👏

It is a tough period. Very few supporting the cleanups and terrible support for my crowdfunding campaign for my 2 in 1 running vest and trashbag for plogging, but a huge respond from people promising all kinds of success with the campaign if I just let them, 15-20 mails daily.

No feedback, no sharing, no almost nothing... So, I am a little demotivated and disappointed and a little less active in here, wondering if it is all just a sharing of likes, but nobody actually reads anything, and then it is ofcourse me and my poor skills in making it interesting enough 🤷‍♂️

I just wished people would look through my crowdfunding campaign found in bio and give a usefull feedback 🙏

Well, I will be back one way or another, with or without social media 💚

A little group of a mum and her 3 or 4 year old daughter and a dad and two of his sons younger than 10 years old and I were the team cleaning up in Fælledparken.

We did a fine job removing 6️⃣4️⃣,6️⃣ kg of trash in three hours time 🎉

Torben and his sons has become more or less regulars, which is just perfect and Roos expected to turn up again.

People like them, not just dropping by for once. They are extremely valuable for the motivation in the cause and for the future of our planet - Thank you guys 🙏

Eventyrkiosken offered ice cream for the kids after their great effort just to show some support for the cause 👏

MiljøPunkt Østerbro delivered the grabbers 👏 that we have made an agreement about that I keep at my place and then citizens and companies, can just call me if they want to borrow them for a cleanup event.

Already made two deals with companies cleaning up with in between 12 to 30 colleagues.

Next Sunday at 10AM to 1PM the battle in Fælledparken continues 💯
