My first community experience was a laughter. I arrived, and the first thing after the “hi” you need to pay x amount for this and x amount for that.
It was a bit of a shock after speaking about everything before had!
Before I booked my flights, and arriving in the middle of the night in another country.
Yes, also those experiences I have had. And I know how that feels for a family.
I think back then if it wasn’t for the families making this experience wonderful, I would have left.
Other places we arrived and it was heart-warming and welcoming all the important things were discussed before.
When families arrive to a community, it can be a challenge (out of many different reasons)
Some are shy
Some need time
Some don’t get the community vibes
And believe me the first part is the most important part. It decides if someone stays or leaves.
While hosting other families, this has also become an important factor for the hub start, reviews, and experiences.

I DID A THING °° 😱😱 °°
This week has been amazing. I’ve had 9 calls with people from all over the world, all working in different areas of worldschooling and hub creation.
It hasn’t only been a great week for them, but also incredibly inspiring for me.
There are so many people taking things into their own hands and creating meaningful spaces within the worldschooling community, from organizing educational trips and safaris to building learning spaces similar to schools, while also helping families better understand the traveling worldschooling lifestyle.
And you know what they are all coming out of good intentions for the worldschooling community!!
This week, I was able to support 9 individuals in taking their next steps, gaining more clarity, direction, and guidance for their goals and projects.
The conversations were inspiring, diverse, and deeply interesting.
Because of this, I’ve decided to extend my birthday week and Mother’s Day offering for one more week, from today until next Friday, while also celebrating 12 years of travel and worldschooling experiences. 🤩
My goal was to help as many people as possible for just 66,- euro on a 1:1 60 min call!! So go ahead and book your slot now!

😂 Hubs are crap
Hubs are to expensive
Hubs need more for what they offer
Today I read a post “I am looking for a quality hub, can also be more expensive, even 5* hotels”
See people are all looking for different things!!
People have different budgets
Families have different expectations and experiences
But going and bashing them ALL and saying they are crap is not the way to go.
Looking into this there are also a lot of personal experiences that flow into them.
It does not mean 1 bad experiences they will all be the same 😂
We have to sit and think about that.
Each place is different, each program is different, each country is different.
When I see people bashing hubs because they were by one my eyes go 🙄
I could say the same like:
“I went worldschooling and visited one country it was crap so I will never visit another country again 😂”
Does that make sense? I guess no!
The same is with communities.
People and places are different wherever you go.
Need to sit with the thought for a while.
