Pick the perfect police car to bust you!
 
Paying a speeding ticket is never fun, but it might be a little more bearable when the police car hot on your heels is a classic Porsche 911 or an Alfa Romeo shooting brake.
 
At this week’s Marks & Cars with at in Munich, we celebrated German-Italian friendship in automotive culture, from Autobahn to Autostrada. And thanks to our friends at the Banzai Collection, OKP and the Porsche Museum, even the police cars were rather adorable.
 
So, which one would you rather get busted by: the .collection classic Porsche 911, the Porsche 993 Autobahn patrol car from the .museum, or the Alfa Romeo of the Polizia Statale from the ? Let us know in the comments...

Most days, there’s a car sitting beneath the five-by-ten-metre sail of light. With seven metres of open space above it and almost nothing to distract the eye, even a shape you know well begins to look different.

Then the car rolls out, a rail of clothes comes in, someone puts music on and the room becomes something else.

That was always the idea. Not a car studio trying to be more than a car studio. Just a seriously good space for making things, whoever or whatever happens to be in front of the camera that day.

It could become a fashion set, a music video, a filmed conversation, a live session, a launch or something nobody has found the right name for yet. The room doesn’t tell you what to make in it.

That’s probably what we like most about it.

Mano was one of our closest friends, one of our greatest supporters, and one of those people who became part of our family.

He was so unbelievably present. For the cars, the drives, the laughs, the stupid ideas, the good ones, and most importantly, for his friends and family.

We miss him deeply.

On August 31, we’re opening the Legacy Lab for an evening in his memory.

Just friends, stories, memories, and a place he knew well and loved so much, filled with people who knew and loved him.
