25 years. One club. Countless memories💙🤍

What a way to celebrate 25 incredible years of Munich Colmcilles!

We had a fantastic morning filled with code games, fun races, and our legends playing our next generation taking centre stage. We topped off the day with an evening of celebration and plenty of dancing with friends old and new. It was a day we’ll never forget.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, whether you pulled on the boots, cheered from the sidelines, bought a raffle ticket, shared a story, or simply came along to celebrate what this club means to so many 💙

A special thank you to Dublin legend Michael Darragh McAuley and Sarah McCaffrey for spending the day with us. From joining in the games to inspiring our youngest members and sharing stories during the evening interview with Niall, your time and generosity made the occasion even more special.

Here’s to the players, coaches, volunteers, supporters, families, and friends who have shaped Munich Colmcilles over the past 25 years and to the next 25 still to come 💪

Thank you for making our anniversary celebration one to remember💙

A big shoutout to our sponsors, we are so grateful for your generosity and support that allows us to run such a successful club. It means the world to our community

Round 2️⃣ Berlin 🇩🇪
Central East Europe Football Championship

We had a fantastic weekend in Berlin for the next round of 2026.
A big shoutout and thanks to for organising!

Our women’s team were champions of the day, dominating each match from the start 🏆
We are so proud of the skill and drive the ladies showed during the entire day 💪 Congrats to all !

Thanks a lot to and who joined forces with 3 of our players, you all played fantastic and were just unlucky at the end to miss out on the Shield in a close final.

Our men also had a very solid start in the group stages and came out on top to advance to the cup stages, fighting hard and winning the semifinals against Setanta. The men performed strong in the cup final but were unlucky against a strong Berlin side.

A shoutout to and who played together with our B men 👏

Next stop is Verona 🇮🇹 for the final round of 2026 !

The whole Munich Colmcilles community are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Pat Stakelum.

Our club could not have asked for a more dedicated or genuine member than Pat. He was always there to lend a helping hand, and no task was ever too big or too small. Pat played a huge role in building the club into what it is today, working tirelessly in the background and never seeking recognition for his efforts.

Pat was a kind, selfless, witty, and gentle soul, immensely proud of his family both in Munich and in Thurles. A great storyteller, he brought warmth and laughter wherever he went, and we will cherish the many wonderful memories we shared in his company.

He supported the Munich Colmcilles in every way possible and was a truly loyal and valued member - the kind every club hopes for.

Pat will always be remembered within Munich Colmcilles and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

We wish to express our heartfelt condolences to Christopher, Daniela, Frank, Robert, Noel, Conor and all of the extended Stakelum family.

Round 1️⃣ Zürich🇨🇭
Central East Europe Football Championship

Our footballers headed to Zurich for the opening round of the 2026 season and a big thanks to for hosting us !

Our ladies team had a strong start winning their first 2 matches and ending the group stages with a tied game vs Berlin. They were unfortunate in the end in the final against a tough Berlin side.

Our men’s team had a few challenging matches but came out ahead of Basel/Rome.
It was great to get back out on the pitch and we look forward to a great season 🏆👏🏻

We also had some of our men team up with and our ladies with / , was great to play alongside you !

Our next tournament will be Berlin in June, looking forward to get back training again in preparation 💪🏼
