This Saturday, we’re welcoming Oxford Uni Australian Rules Football Club 🏉 and Cambridge Aussie Rules to Munich this weekend for the ultimate „British Invasion“ friendlies.
Catch the men at 1:00 PM and the women at 2:30 PM at the Werneckwiese in English Garden. It’s going to be a hot day, so make sure to bring plenty of water and sunscreen ☀️ We’ll be jumping into the Eisbach right after the games to cool down, so don’t forget to pack your swimwear! 🌊

After the games, the fun continues with our after party 🍻 The theme for the night is “Dads on Tour” - so dust off your finest vintage finds, bucket hats, and questionable vacation shirts.

THE BATTLE FOR BAYERN CONTINUES…with some small scheduling updates 🗓️🤺

Excellent training for league games, the Bayern League is a Roo vs. Roo intramural program (bitter-fought series of battles…followed by brotherly brews🍻) in which both the men and womens teams compete.

As the Australian Football League Germany (AFLG) semis are scheduled for the same weekend, make sure to reserve a table or three. Help spread the word.

After a tough trip to Berlin last week the Roos are again playing on home turf this weekend at the TUM field in Olympiapark!

It’s going to be a massive day of footy. The women will take on the Southern Giants and the FLINTA teams in two half-games, while the men face off against the in a full-length showdown.

The forecast is looking hot, but we have the essentials covered. Back by popular demand, is making a return with their organic ice cream & vegan sorbets. If you didn’t get a chance to try them at the last home game, you definitely don’t want to miss out this time—we recommend the mango and the date-mint, but you really can’t go wrong.🍦We’ll also have cold bevs from Giesinger Bräu München 🍺 and a raffle with some great prizes from Budgy Smuggler™, so make sure to get your tickets! 🎟️

After the games are over, we’ll head over to Lost Weekend for a Western-style after-party, so be sure to meet us there 👢 Come for the footy, stay for the ice cream, and let’s make the most of the sun at Olympiapark! ☀️

Round 2 of Bayern League is officially in the books and what a day it was on May 28th! For the first time in Bayern League history, there were more women players on the field than men! 🙌🔥 It was a close game with many behinds (and the occasional goal), but in the end the Tegernsee Tigers managed to just edge out the Wiesn Vipers and secure their second win 🏆

Final Score: Tegernsee Tigers: 7.8 (50) vs. Wiesn Vipers: 6.12 (48)

This Thursday, June 11th, the Tigers and Vipers return for Round 3, so make sure to mark your calendar and join us at Hirschgarten!

Alongside our usual weekly training sessions, we've got a lots of fun & exciting events ahead. The men’s team is packing their bags for an away game in Berlin, but we’ll also be bringing the energy right back here to Munich with a double home game day featuring our men's and women's teams. Plus, we are incredibly excited to host the team for another international friendly! 🏉
When we aren’t playing or practicing, you can find us making the most of the summer sun with a whole host of social events lined up throughout the month. 🍻

Despite the heat on the day, all teams played incredibly well and fought hard until the final siren 📣

First home game day of the season in the books, and what a day to be a Kangaroo! Our women’s team took to the field at Olympiapark this past Saturday (May 23) to face off against the Southern Giants, and they absolutely crushed it! 🔥

A massive performance across all four quarters saw the girls lock in a dominant win:
* Munich Kangaroos: 12.7 (79)
* Southern Giants: 3.7 (25)
