The whole system fits on your bar and is small@enough to fit in your pocket. Enode measures bar speed, technique and load on every rep, so you train on data instead of guesswork. Clip it on, lift, and see exactly what each set is doing.

Mean or peak? Pick the wrong one and flawless data still sends you the wrong way.
The number is accurate. The conclusion is useless.
Here's the split:
Mean velocity is the average bar speed across the whole concentric. Use it for strength lifts: squat, bench, deadlift. The sticking point drags the average down, so it reflects how hard the full rep actually was.
Peak velocity is the fastest instant in the rep. Use it for ballistic work: jump squats, throws, sn**ch and clean pulls. Those movements are about the highest speed you can reach, and averaging the rep blurs that out.
The decision rule is simple. If the rep ends with braking (you slow the bar to stay in control), track mean. If it ends in a jump, a throw or a catch, track peak.
Enode records both on every rep, so the only decision left is which one to coach from.
Save this for your next programming block, and tag a coach who programs both.

We’ll be at the Texas High School Coaches Assn Coaching School in Houston, July 19–21, with our partners, SimpliFaster . Come by booth #1320, try out an Enode sensor and see bar speed turn into something you can actually coach off in the moment.
We’re also giving a first look at the Live Performance Hub, coming to the updated Enode web portal. Leaderboards to fuel competition, live session overviews so you can read the whole floor at once, and live competition dashboards.

We’ll always be a little biased when it comes to data in strength training, we think there’s a lot more of it that should be utilised.
But we also know it can become debilitating when too much is thrown at you at once.
What do you choose? How do you use it? That’s going to look different for every coach.
With Enode, the basics are always there to help make informed decisions. And if you want to take a deeper dive into the numbers, that’s available too.

We have seen a lot happen over the last 10 years, mostly for the good. We are proud that we have been a part of the strength & conditioning community for so long. It doesn't stop here though, we look forward to the next 10 years of velocity based training...and more!
