I first traveled to Sulina in 2007 with a friend, after a long train journey from Arad to Tulcea. We didn’t know anyone there, yet we ended up spending the night with a local family who welcomed us into their home. It’s one of those travel memories I’ve never forgotten.

Almost 20 years later, I returned. This time, I saw Sulina from the water on the way to the Black Sea and spent a day on its beach. Some places have a way of staying with you, quietly waiting until it’s time to come back.

Paris is always a good idea. ❤️

🍝 Endless orecchiette + swims in both the Adriatic and Ionian seas while in Puglia.
💃 A trip back to the 70s for a friend’s 50th — all the way in Lisbon.

To great friends, delicious meals, wild adventures, and love — especially for the two blondes in my house and .spiac . Life together = bliss.
