German Open 2026⛵️
The third and final day treated us to one more race; the wind was very light, so a boat speed of 4 knots felt fast… We managed to secure second place once again and thus finished second overall with 12 points, just 2 points behind the winner!
So we can call ourselves vice-champions – yippee!🤩
The weekend was an emotional rollercoaster; every race was close and fiercely contested. The placings were almost always decided on the final downwind leg. Class sailing at its best!
Congratulations and respect to SMILLA and RED FOX, with whom we’re delighted to share the podium – we had a brilliant time!

In two weeks’ time, we’re off to the Kalkgrund Regatta in Fahrensodde, and then back to the winter storage hall!⛵️💨
