Agios Nikolaos 2026 concludes with Long Distance titles and a golden sweep for Pampinella
The 2026 Paddle Europe Stand Up Paddling Championships came to an end with the Long Distance races deciding the final European titles in Crete.
Cecilia Pampinella completed a perfect Open Women's campaign, adding Long Distance gold to her Sprint and Technical victories to finish the championships with three European titles.
Christian Andersen won the Open Men's Long Distance title, adding a second gold after his Technical victory, while 🇪🇸 Manuel Hoyuela completed an impressive championship with medals in all three disciplines.
In the Junior categories, 🇩🇪 Benyam Bossack won the Men's Long Distance title and Sveva Sabato claimed her second gold of the championships in the Junior Women.
The Masters titles went to George Fragkos, Reza Nasiri and Penny Tsaoutou, who also completed a perfect three-title championship in Masters 50+ Women.
After three days of Sprint, Technical and Long Distance racing, Italy finished on top of the final medal table with 6 gold, 9 silver and 5 bronze medals, ahead of hosts Greece with 6 gold, 4 silver and 7 bronze.
A total of 21 official European titles were awarded in Agios Nikolaos.
