We’re heading back to Wisconsin for another round with our friends, the Madison Warriors.

This time, we’ll meet in DeForest, Wisconsin, as we hit the ice at the new Legacy Arena.

It’s often said that it’s not always about the destination, but the people you meet along the way. For us, one of those people was Raul Bravo, who left us way too early five years ago today.

From the infancy stages of LZH, Raul and his family were there. Raul wasn’t a veteran, but that never mattered. He was our friend, he believed in what we were building and whenever we needed him, he showed up.

His parents were always there too and some of our favorite memories will forever be his dad walking into the locker room after a game with beers for the boys. Win or lose….

A lot has changed in five years. LZH has grown and this journey has taken us places we never could have imagined back then.

But you never forget the people who were there at the beginning.

Today, we remember our friend Raul.

Gone way too soon at just 37 years old, but forever a part of our story.

We miss you, bro 🧡

Just 4 Veterans Enterprises was with us in the Netherlands this past May, and they’re coming with us again to Germany this September! 🇳🇱➡️🇩🇪🏒

We’re officially 30 days out from something pretty special.

For the first time in LZH history, we’re sending TWO teams overseas - 22 American players from the USA, UK, Germany and Belgium, all meeting up in Füssen this September.

And while we fully intend to play some puck, make some memories and probably create a few international incidents of the harmless variety… there’s a reason we keep saying yes to these crazy adventures.

Everywhere LZH goes, SameYou goes with us 🧡

Another country means another opportunity to introduce people to their work, raise awareness for brain injury recovery and hopefully leave something worthwhile behind after the final buzzer.

So yeah… this one feels a little different. See you in Füssen. 🇩🇪
