Another win for Elbe Tigers in the SCV 50 Overs Regionalliga Sachsen.

It was a difficult day with the bat as we were bowled out for 126. But the team responded brilliantly with the ball and defended the total, bowling Dresden CC out for just 88 to win by 38 runs.

Ali Hassan led the bowling with an excellent 4 wickets for just 9 runs from 4 overs. Swapnil Bane also picked up 2 wickets for 22 runs, while Muhammad Maaz contributed with an important wicket.

A great team effort, especially with the ball and in the field. Well played everyone, and thanks to Dresden CC for the game.

Man of the Match – Shakeer Khan Mohammed

A brilliant all-round performance from Shakeer in our 3-wicket win against D3C Greens.

Shakeer scored an important 81 runs off 79 balls and also contributed with the ball, taking 1 wicket in 3 overs.

His innings played a big part in helping us chase down the target and secure another important win for Elbe Tigers.

Another good win for Elbe Tigers in the 50-over Regionalliga Sachsen.

D3C Greens batted first and scored 244 before being bowled out in 43.2 overs. Our bowlers worked hard throughout the innings, with Mohsin Sajjad taking 4/45 and Foqrul Islam picking up 2/46.

Chasing 245, Ali Hassan played a patient innings of 81, while Shakeer Khan Mohammed also scored a brilliant 81 to put us in a strong position. We completed the chase with 248/7 in 46 overs to win by 3 wickets.

A well-deserved Man of the Match award for Swapnil Bane after an outstanding all-round performance in our victory against Halle/Leipzig United.

Swapnil’s innings gave us the momentum from the start and helped us post a strong total of 185. He then contributed with the ball and in the field to complete a fantastic team performance.

Another strong performance from Elbe Tigers as we secured a 68-run victory against Halle/Leipzig United in Dresden.

Batting first, we posted 185/6 in 20 overs thanks to some excellent contributions from the top order:

Our bowlers then backed it up with a disciplined performance to bowl out the opposition for 117 in 16.4 overs.
